Charlotte Tilbury Deep (8) Hollywood Flawless Filter ($44.00 for 1 fl. oz.) is a dark brown with neutral-to-warm undertones and a luminous sheen with very fine, faint pearl throughout. On my skin tone, when applied and sheered out, it looked a bit warmer, but it seemed truer to neutral and was less overtly warm-toned compared to most shades in the range.
It is intended for deeper skin tones, and it is significantly deeper than the previously-deepest shade, Dark (7), so it is a nice extension, but there could be several in-between shades from 7 to 8. The performance and quality of the product was consistent with the formula in general; it was gel-like, fluid, lightweight, and spreadable, which made it easy to use as a standalone product (like a highlighter, or on my skin tone, more of a bronzer) or mixed into foundation/moisturizer for an all-over glow.
It had more flexible coverage; it could be sheerer when mixed and more semi-sheer to medium, buildable coverage when used as a standalone highlighter. It wore well for nine hours with minimal fading as a standalone highlighter/cheek product.
