Charlotte Tilbury Dark (7) Hollywood Flawless Filter ($44.00 for 1 oz.) is a medium-dark, orange-brown with strong, warm undertones and a soft, pearlescent luminosity. It had buildable coverage that was sheerer when mixed with base products or applied as a thin layer all-over as a primer, but it could be built more a bit as more of a medium coverage highlighter (or bronzer on my skin tone).
The consistency was lightweight, spreadable, and fluid like a gel-like primer--more emollient and wet but still had good glide over base products and bare skin. The effect as a standalone product is a luminous glow that wasn't overtly shimmery so it did not emphasize skin texture. It worked well mixed with foundation or moisturizer for adding an all-over glowing effect. It wore nicely for nine hours as a standalone product, and it did not extend nor shorten the wear as a primer/mixed in with foundation.
