Charlotte Tilbury Starry Eyes to Hypnotise 12-Pan Eye Palette ($75.00 for 0.31 oz.) is a new, limited edition eyeshadow palette for the holiday season that's split up into four trios. The formula the brand uses in these larger palettes seems to be one of their best; I find the quads to be hit or miss with the more matte shades being a little powdery and prone to sheering out, while the three matte shades in this palette are intense, velvety, and finely-milled--they have a sumptuous feel to them.
The shimmers, with the exception of the two from the Seduce Glow trio, are fantastic. They're richly pigmented, creamy without being heavy or thick, and easy to work with on bare skin. The two shimmers in the Seduce Glow trio have heavier sparkle and feel more silicone-heavy so they have more slip and feel less like a traditional powder. They felt smoother and were more yielding than the Pop shades in the brand's quads but are in a similar vein. If you like sparkly top coats, they should perform well enough in that capacity.
Iconic star power in a palette, these 12 intensely-pigmented shades are designed for every occasion and every mood! Inspired by the spotlights, rock stars and dancers Charlotte partied with at the Ku Club in Ibiza, these multi-coloured, multi-use shades glide across the eyes, lips and cheeks like silk-satin, and the rich molten textures can be used wet or dry.
