Chanel Rouge Distinctif (842) Rouge Allure Ink Matte Liquid Lip Colour ($40.00 for 0.2 oz.) is a medium-dark orange-coral with warmer undertones and a matte finish. It had nearly opaque color coverage paired with a lightweight, spreadable consistency that was more watery and thin, but still managed to go on evenly and kept its coverage level in the first layer.
The formula was quick to dry down to a transfer-resistant finish that felt flexible and fairly comfortable to wear. This shade wore well for four and a half hours and felt non-drying over time.
