Chanel Rêve d'Orient #4 is a neutral-toned, dark black with a satin finish. It is a limited edition eyeshadow.
Rêve d'Orient #4 is described as a "deep black." It's a rich, dark black with neutral-to-warm undertones and a satin finish. It was intensely pigmented both wet and dry, though it is a bit smoother and looks inkier in person when applied damp. Thankfully, it is incredibly blendable with a silky, finely-milled texture. This shade stayed on well for eight and a half hours on me. Make Up For Ever S102 Onyx (P, $21.00) is similar. NARS Sycorax (P, $29.00) is softer. Chanel Jardin Zen #4 (LE) is warmer. MAC Smokeluxe #5 (P) is similar. MAC Bleuluxe #5 (P) is warmer. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
Pure, long-lasting pigments ensure an intense colour effect while the soft, smooth texture allows for effortless application.
