This was my 1st Chanel quad. I did a blind buy based off of a popular makeup reviewing site (I don't know if it's okay to mention its name here). Hi, this is my first post! I love the buttery high quality of these e/s I wear them frequently (when I'm not wearing Chanel Entrelacs quint or 1 of my 2 Illusion d'Ombré e/s ..... My collection is small of Chanel!). These are the best shadows ever for me. I'm NC20 LLL light brown hair grey eyes rimless glasses. These are neutral enough for all skin tones, aren't too sheer, blend like a dream, don't crease w UDPP. I still like my UD/MAC shadows but I'm reaching for this & my other Chanel products the most. They are a luxury brand to me so ur really getting ur $$$ worth for these shadows they are def splurge worthy! I highly rec'd this quad. It is so versatile u can go from day-to-night easily casual or some fancy occasion. Chanel makes such beautiful unique colors! Undupeable! Run don't walk to your nearest Chanel counter! I'm an enabler--you need this :-)

As soon as I saw Christine's photos of this, what little willpower I possess just evaporated. This is a perfect autumn quad with a golden bronzey brown, an olive green, a darker almost black green laced with old gold and a pretty peachy nude. All have the lovely finish typical of these quads from Chanel - a flattering and elegant satiny sheen. It sort of goes without saying that at this price, a little more product would have been welcome and now that I've learned to save the little plastic insert that protects these shadows, I can also say they are travel friendly-ish (but I'd still keep my fingers crossed and keep them well protected!)
This is another in a long line of "Christine made me buy it" colour cosmetics. I first discovered the new "Tisse" shadows here at Temptalia and, after purchasing and totally loving Tisse Gabrielle, I treated myself to Tisse Rivoli. These 4 lovely shades on a brown theme are not so warm that I have a hard time wearing them. They are versatile, flattering and the texture is lovely. While they're not intensely pigmented, the colours are easily buildable. And I've found that the tiny applicators that come with these quads aren't sponge-tipped; they're more like cotton flannel and, surprisingly, they do a really good job of applying the shadows. They work even better than brushes do. Like I say, it was quite a surprise and I'm glad I didn't toss these, which is what I usually do with the tiny "sponge tipped" applicators that come with eye shadows.

It's good but not essential. Colors are pigmented, and pretty, OK! But dont you have the same colors in your classic palettes? :) Anyway, if you dont have that colors, you must have that palette. It can provide you a long wearing eye make up (not daily i think, its more suitable for evening looks) . I like metallic shimmers, and these colors have that. Not penny sized sparkles :) anyway i liked that, and thinking about doing my new year party mke up with this :)

I bought this as a treat/bit of spoiling for myself. There are several quads in this "new" release from Chanel that I really like and covet but when I saw them all in-store, Gabrielle won my heart for a first purchase. It's 4 wonderful neutrals - mostly cool taupe/grey shades but the light shade (almost white) is a bit warmer and so beautiful. It looks like it would be glittery and apply a bit scaly, but it goes on so smoothly, as do the other 3 shades. This is a great palette for every day. It sort of reminds me a bit of Guerlain's Les Fumes though it's more grey/black and this one has that fabulous white/highlight shade. So, perfect for work; perfect for business trips (you really wouldn't need anything else unless you wanted something a bit less subdued for nigh-time) and perfect for a really elegant sultry, smokey eye. A bit pricey but so worth it.
