Chanel Vert Obscur (679) Le Vernis Nail Colour ($27.00 for 0.40 fl. oz.) is a blackened bluish-teal with a jelly-cream finish (seems heavy for jelly, but it has some of that watery, translucency that you'd expect from a jelly formula). The consistency is thin and watery, and it can pool along the edges. I didn't test this shade specifically for wear, but even after an hour of wear (about the time I wait for polish to dry before photographing), it did stain towards the base of my nail, so I'd highly recommend using a base coat under this one! MAC Deep Sea (LE, $16.00) is lighter, brighter, warmer (90% similar). Cult Nails Awakening (LE, $12.00) is lighter, more muted, warmer (85% similar).
