Chanel Provocation Le Vernis Nail Colour ($27.00 for 0.40 fl. oz.) is a deep, purple burgundy with a cream finish. The polish applied flawlessly without bubbling, streaking, or pooling along the edges. It had a nicely balanced consistency that wasn't too thick or too thin, so it was fully opaque in two coats and spread evenly across the nail. I typically get a week of wear out of Chanel's lacquer formula with minor tip wear but no chipping. I believe this shade was previously released, as well, so you may have it in your stash. Urban Decay Wrecked is darker. MAC Purple Majesty is darker. MAC Blueblood is also darker. Chanel Accessoire is a bit darker, less purple. Rescue Beauty Lounge Drifter is nearly the same.
