Chanel Paparazzi is a very warm-toned, medium-dark plum with a pearl finish. It is a discontinued nail lacquer that retails for $28.00 and contains 0.4 oz.
Paparazzi Le Vernis Nail Colour ($27.00 for 0.40 fl. oz.) is a muted, plummy brown with copper pearl. I couldn't think of anything that really came close to this--SpaRitual Quartz is much more orange, rather than plum. Chanel April is cooler-toned, pinker, and shimmer-free. See comparison swatches. Not only was it a more unique color (relative to what I've seen), it had great color payoff, a lovely consistency, and was a breeze to apply. It was opaque in two coats, and I didn't have any trouble with the formula streaking, bubbling, or pooling along the edges because it wasn't too thick or too thin. I typically get a week of wear out of Chanel's formula with minor tip wear but no chipping.
