Chanel Ecorce Sanguine (671) Le Vernis Nail Colour ($27.00 for 0.40 fl. oz.) is a medium-dark, warm red with a cream finish. It was opaque in a single coat, though two coats isn't fussy at all, so if you prefer the thickness of two, it applies like any good polish does--you just don't need it for coverage. I tested this shade specifically for wear from the set of three, and it lasted for the typical seven days that Chanel's formula does for me (without a base or top coat). The consistency wasn't too thick or too thin, and it applied evenly with ease. Tom Ford Beauty Shameless (LE, $35.00) is lighter, brighter, warmer (90% similar). Dior Shock (762) (LE, $27.00) is lighter, warmer (85% similar). NARS Hell-Bent (LE, $20.00) is lighter, warmer (80% similar). Zoya Tamsen (P, $9.00) is lighter, more muted, warmer (90% similar).
