Pomegranate is described as a "rich red." It's a bright, medium red with soft, blue undertones. I can tell it's blue based, as there is a pinkish tone to it when blended out, but it reads closer to neutral due to my coloring (so I'd expect it to be a bit cooler on cooler skin tones). It had very, very rich color payoff that glided on easily and delivered smooth, even color coverage. The color lasted for six hours and stained slightly.
