bareMinerals The Glass Beach is a limited edition eye palette that retails for $30.00 and contains 0.17 oz.
bareMinerals The Glass Beach Eyeshadow Quad ($30.00 for 0.17 oz.) is a new, limited edition set of shades for summer. I came across this on QVC when I bought The Nude Beach palette. According to bareMinerals, it was inspired by the coast of Northern California. All four shades had a muted quality to them, which made them appear more muddied applied to the lid than anticipated, and the somewhat powdery texture of the shades seemed to compound this problem. It's an interesting set of shades, but the texture of these really needs the help of a primer, which would help the color adhere better to the skin. I packed and packed Sea Glass on like no tomorrow but really couldn't get it to appear as it does in the pan. bareMinerals' Ready formula is one of my favorites, because it is very, very pigmented, applies beautifully without primer, and wears long without fading or creasing, but this quad fell so short compared to other palettes and quads.
