Heirloom is a blackened purple with purple and silver sparkle. The sparkle completely lifts from the base powder, which gives you more of a satin-like finish, and the eyeshadow itself is incredibly powdery. It's just dusty and needs a tacky, white base to perform decently. Without a helper like that, patting it on and blending as little as possible is my best advice. On me, it faded by the sixth hour. bareMinerals Starry Night (LE, $14.00) is less shimmery. Too Faced Jungle Love (LE, $16.00) is less shimmery, darker. Urban Decay Ether (P, $20.00) is more shimmery. MAC Exotic Purple (LE, $16.00) is less shimmery, darker. MAC Feel the Fever (LE, $21.00) is more shimmery, lighter.
