Patrick Ta Launches at Sephora
Release Date + Collection Info
“I have always gravitated toward women. Growing up, I knew I was gay but wasn’t out to the world. Women like my Mom, my sister and my best friends were the ones who allowed me to be myself. I wanted to crease makeup that made women feel confident and beautiful in their own skin, just as women have made me feel.
Patrick Ta for her is for my Mom, my sister, my clients, and my best friends. They are the ones who gave me confidence, a career and a voice.
This is for her.” — Patrick Ta

These offerings have a very Fenty look to them.
I’m very interested in the Body Oil to use on my legs and back of my arms! The lipglosses look really interesting, too.
$52 for barely more than 3 ounces seems kinda steep (the way I go through body oils and lotions, I’d probably use it up in less than 2 weeks!) but I agree with you – it looks lovely and interesting.
Didn’t Fenty really a few shimmery body oils recently? The price tag might be a tad better? I don’t remember if you can find the brand Nuxe in the USA. They have one since maybe a decade if not more… Maybe that the price / ounce is more interesting :).
I am not in the US – I’m in Canada and Nuxe is readily available in drugstores here. My issue with Nuxe is the dreadful design of the bottle – it’s glass and a rectangular chunk of glass so really not at all well designed for spraying onto your body after a shower. I wish they would make the oil in a pump (sprays go everywhere no matter how careful I am) and in something that fits more securely into the hand. I do like their body lotion in the tube and would love the oil in better packaging (the original or the shimmer one).
Glad to see a new brand at Sephora. I have been pretty bored with makeup for awhile and maybe a new brand will liven things up a bit. The products sound interesting. Will have to wait and see in person before being willing to indulge.
I agree with you on this. We need a shake up with a new brand or something, bring it on!
The editorial is jus t beautiful , modern ,healthy fresh.
The gloss , just at first glance look like Fenty Gloss Bombs, but I can’t tell just by first glance.
The body oils and mists look perfect for that healthy ,tan skin ,I’ll be checking these out.
It’s always good to see a new brand and to discover if what they have suits you. Coming in with a smallish collection makes sense too. The models look great.
Since he mentions his mom in the quote, I was really hoping that perhaps women over 40 or even over 50, etc. would be used in the promotional photos. Alas, nope….
I like that the brand is launching with products that are pretty universal. I can’t say I get why a hand fan is $24 (they are so, so cheap at Chinese and Japanese markets or even online) or a lip gloss is named, “Is She Younger Than Me?” though.
The highlighting mist looks interesting to me; I look forward to checking this line out in person 🙂
