OCC Overlook Loose Colour Concentrate
Don’t Overlook This Plum
OCC Overlook Loose Colour Concentrate ($12.50 for 2.5g) is described as a “deep plum shimmer.” It’s a red-toned medium-dark plum with a soft, frosted finish. When applied dry, it has a more subdued finish–less of a sheen–than it does when used damp, where the frosted sheen comes forth. Urban Decay Last Call is redder, less purple. Guerlain Boulevard du Montparnasse is darker, more purple, less of a sheen. Le Metier de Beaute Fig is darker, more burgundy. MAC Plum Dressing is a smidgen darker and less frosted. NARS Caravaggio is lighter, more purple.
It has a soft, silky-smooth texture with a finely-milled powder consistency. Â It’s opaque whether it’s used dry or wet, though there is a notable difference in the finish depending on the application method. Â Because it’s so finely-milled, it applies evenly and melts against the skin like butter. Â I tried it on the eye without a primer, and I didn’t have any creasing or fading even after a full eight hours of wear.

I like it, and I’m usually not a big fan of purple shades. But like you said, this isn’t quite purple, so thumbs up for that!
Amazing color! Loose shadows/pigments are such a hassle, though, so I’ll probably skip it.
Stunning! I have SUCH a weakness for purples and greens, and this one is absolutely fabulous!
This is my kinda plum shade as it doesn’t teeter too far into red territory. I picked up both of these new OCC loose shadows last night. Definitely two colours I am looking forward to using. Great to read positive reviews on both.
I love purple! Reading your review makes me very curious about it. I want to try it.
