NYX Moonbeam Away We Glow Liquid Highlighter Review, Photos, Swatches
Moonbeam
NYX Moonbeam Away We Glow Liquid Highlighter ($6.99 for 0.22 fl. oz.) is a peachy gold with warm undertones and a sparkling sheen. The finish had slightly larger sparkles to it, though it was still a more moderate highlighter once blended out on the skin. It had semi-sheer pigmentation, which was buildable to mostly opaque coverage with two or three layers–it was best built up by letting each layer dry first. The consistency was blendable, spreadable, but thin and water-like so it felt cool on the skin initially. The highlighter wore well for seven and a half hours on me.
The Away We Glow formula is a liquid highlighter that has buildable coverage “from soft to intense.” The brand recommends to “dab and blend” on skin for “irresistible illumination.” There are nine shades available, and the shimmer varied from shade to shade: fine pearl to chunkier sparkle. The formula has a watery, thin feel from the tube, and I liked getting a bit on the back of my hand and then dabbing with fingertips or a stippling brush onto the cheeks and high planes of the face for highlighting. It did dry down after a minute or so, and the wear ranged from seven to eight hours.

That cool feeling must be nice 🙂 Looks lovely.
It has a nice sheen!
Glad it did well. I ordered this and 2 others this morning 🙂
Can’t wait for you to get yours!
Looks a bit sheer but I love the packaging! I’m kind of done with those bulky powders / nail-polish type applicator for highlighters! This is what I think of when I think of the perfect highlighting concealer!
Glad to hear that this might work for you!
Wow, it looks very natural on you!
It does!
I’m actually surprised at how similar it’s compared to Becca Champagne Pop pressed but this looks more glowy on you.
This one looks really nice, too. Pretty funny, though, that these are better and longer lasting than the TF ones! I still have a lot of MAC Summer Wind left, so I may not actually need another similar one, but the cooling sensation sounds heavenly!
Cute.
I hate to say it, but now that you have given me some tips, Christine, I’m interested in trying some liquid highlights!
Very pretty shade and a great rating for the price.
Looks so natural and glowy, I love it!
