This is the last of the five shades in the NYX Illuminator range. The formula is supposed to have “radiant shimmer” that gives skin a “subtle glow.” The texture of this shade was slightly dry, but it applied without a fuss on the skin and didn’t look powdery, though it did emphasize pores slightly. It had semi-sheer to semi-opaque, buildable coverage. The highlighter blended out well and lasted for six and a half hours on me.

I know, I was devastated. It took me almost six months to get up the nerve to even try fixing it! It came out ok though. (and it’s the Liberty of London packaging – no way I could just part ways with it!)

I like it. I like pinky and peachy highllighters. The slighlty powdery issue may be a problem on my almost 40 skin that is a litttle dry though. But, with a fan brush and for $9 , I may give it a go. I’m putting it on my list for after Christmas and look at Ulta.

Hey, Christine. if someone is on a budget can it be purchased for one’s Bridal makeup kit? Or one should invest in Kevyn Aucoin or the Becca highlighters?

This blush caught my eyes when you posted it in your web that I think you might give it higher score… It actually looks pretty on you, too~ Tempting, but when I see the score you gave… hmmm.. I need to re-consider it! ^^
Call me crazy but somehow I often based my buys on your review! Thanks for the review, Christine!
