Milk Makeup Infinity Bionic Liquid Blush ($20.00 for 0.27 oz.) is a medium-dark coral with moderate, slightly more pink-leaning, warm undertones and a matte finish. It took a full two minutes for the formula to actually dry down in practice, but it really did get to a pretty matte finish eventually. The texture seemed so fluid and gel-like that it never occurred to me that it was going to dry down fully when I initially swatched it.

The liquid blush yielded sheerer coverage, which was as described by the brand, that could be built up if desired. The product was easy to over-apply and over-blend as it was very fluid and wet when initially working with it, so I found it easier to put some on the back of my hand and give it time to dry out a little before putting it on my cheeks. This helped me have more control over the area it ended up sheering out over. It stayed on well for eight hours before fading noticeably.

Formula Overview

The blush is supposed "sheer" and buildable while feeling "weightless" and have a "powdery finish." It was a very fluid, liquid-based formula initially, but it quickly dried down to a fully flat, matte finish that was transfer-resistant--I was quite surprised at just how much it dried down given how fluid it felt initially.

The four shades released were sheerer and more buildable, as promised, and they were fairly easy to work with. The only issue I had was that the consistency was almost overly fluid and made it harder to apply in smaller areas/with precision while still getting visible color. I preferred putting a bit on the back of my hand, then using a stippling brush to pick up and swirl on my cheeks to help "cheat" the drying time by a bit.

They wore between eight and nine hours on me before fading visibly.

We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities!
