I hunted high and low for a lipstick like this! I find it has a real muted quality to it which makes it sooo wearable. I'm NC20/C1 in MAC and it appears much darker on me than Christine. I don't have issues with the Cremesheen formula so I find this hydrating, but that really seems to be your-milage-may-vary.

Naked 2, just like Naked 1 and Naked Basics, totally revolutionized my makeup stash when I got them. I now use these three palettes almost exclusively, and if I do use other shadows, there will always be a shade I use from my naked palettes to pull the look together. Naked 2 is my go to for a nighttime look, specifically Snakebite, Suspect, YDK and Busted. Pistol and Verve are slightly too cool toned to work on me most of the time, and I rarely use Blackout just due to personal perference, though I can attest to it being extremely pigmented. Foxy is a good shade for blending out a shimmery highlight, such as Bootycall. Tease is an absolutely gorgeous shade, though sadly the one shade in this palette which I feel is subpar, as it is powdery and sheerer, though I still love it as a transition shade. Half-baked is an odd addition to this palette, as it is extremely warm toned, as well as being a repeat from Naked 1. I really would have preferred an antique gold in its place. Chopper is another odd one out, though a lovely highshimmer shade in its own right. This palette is a mainstay and I would be lost without it!!

I've been really enjoying this blush lately so I thought I'd review it. I have this in the Ambient Lighting Blush palette. This is one of the more unique blushes in my stash, and recently I've found myself reaching for it to pair with the darker eye and lip looks I've been favouring. It is darker and more neutral than the rest of my mostly coral and pink stash. The shade appears as a medium-deep pink on me - it is signinficantly deeper and darker on me than the swatch above. The texture is unusual (similar to the rest of the Ambient Lighting Powders I have), I'd actually say it's somewhat powdery, though not in a bad way, as it never appears powdery on the skin. The finish is best described as a luminous matte - I find I can feel I look very "done up" in these blushes, which isn't always the look I'm going for. Overall it's a welcome addition to my stash, and a very good "winter" shade.
I bought this on a whim after hearing a lot about it, but I'm glad I did! It's the perfect warm neutral blush on me. If I need something to pair with any bold warm-toned look, this is an easy go to. It imparts colour without competing with the rest of my makeup. Definitely a mainstay in my makeup stash.
This is one of my favourite ever eyeshadows. I have used this consistently since I bought it, and I will continue to use it until it's all gone!! It's just such a beautiful shade, it's brightening without being stark, neutral without being boring, and just sooo lovely to wear. I've toyed with the idea of getting a backup for the longest time, but I've never pulled the trigger because I'm not even close to using it up! MAC PLEASE MAKE THESE SHADES PERMANENT!!
This is a lovely lipstick, just "nude" enough for me without being ghostly. It's not something I can wear with a neutral eye, as it washes me out, but pairs well with a smokey or dramatic eye. Lovely texture and mildly hydrating too.
I'm loving this!! I bought it for the unusual shade - got to love a warm toned purple - but I love the formula too. It's VERY long wearing - it's neither hydrating nor drying, so I find I need to pat some lip conditioner over the top throughout the wear. It's actually quite easy to apply using the sponge-tip applicator - I expected it to be messy, but it creates quite a nice line. I found it easier to do my cupids bow with this than with a normal lipstick bullet. Overall I'm very impressed and I will be looking into more of the shades!!
I'm completely in love with this lipgloss! It's a beautiful shade and the finish is is really lovely, plus it leaves a nice subtle stain as it wears away. The texture is truly non sticky - it just feels like I'm wearing lip balm. Oh and it's hydrating!! I think this is my new favourite lipgloss formula!!
I really like this product - I have a mini instead of the full size, and I took it travelling as it was small and I wouldn't be too upset if it broke. Well I ended up really loving it! It's really quite long wearing - on me, other blushes are pretty much gone by the end of the day, but this is still there, and mostly intact. I was obsessed with the limited edition MAC Supercontinental blush, and now I rarely us that and reach for this instead!
I'm left quite disappointed by this shade. It's pigmented, but it's rather powdery - I often find I pick up too much product, or not enough (then I go back and get too much!) It "sticks" where you apply it, then I find it never looks seemless - it's hard to get a soft edge. I almost never reach for this product and will probably give it away to someone at some stage.
I love this lipstick! It's really easy to get a crisp line straight from the bullet with this formula. It never gathers or looks dry. It's not moisturising, but it's not drying either. I always prep my lips with MAC Lip Conditioner before I wear their mattes, blot my lips then apply the lipstick. After about 4 hours of wear I dab a tiny bit of Lip Conditioner over the top and that keeps my lips happy. I can skip that step without On my NC20 skintone (I have neutral-to-warm undertones) it looks like a warm-toned red, super flattering and lovely. However on my NC40 friend, it looks straight orange (though just as lovely)! I was shocked to see it's such a chameleon!
I got this as a Back 2 Mac shade, almost as an afterthought - and I am impressed! It's crazy pigmented, and the shade is so flattering - much more so than I expected. It can be hard to get a crisp line straight from the bullet, and one does NEED a clear line with a shade like this. The upside is, it's so matte that I can go outside my natural lip line and it will stay there. It's not drying or hydrating - I dab a little lip conditioner over the top after about 4 hours and I'm good. It really creates a classic, pin-up look - AND it does actually makes my teeth look whiter (no, really!!).
I love this shade, it's a complete workhorse for me - total no brainer, throw-it-on shade. I LOVE the formula - it's (truly) non sticky, hydrating and comfortable to wear. There is a somewhat chemically scent, but I find it tolerable - I cannot wear most drugstore lipglosses due to their scents.
I'm blown away by how much I love this eyeliner, I constantly want to wear it!! It applies so easily, depositing colour with hardly any pressure. I've can also go a few uses before sharpening it, which I love - less wastage! MAC eyeliners are also lovely and long, which I like, as they don't get short and stubby as quickly as other eyeliners. The shade is stunning - it brings out my eyes, and works with my skintone perfectly - not easy as I have cool blue-grey eyes and a warmish skintone. I think the gold shimmer really takes this eyeliner to another level, not many other teal eyeliners seem to have the gold in them, which is what really makes it sing on my skintone. It wears well on my quite oily eyes, some slight migrating on my lower lash line (which is where I always wear it). One stroke lays down colour, the second really shows the dimension and sparkle of the shade. Can't recommend enough!
This product is every bit as good as Christine says. I tried it on, expecting it to not to really suit my warmer undertones, but it is SO VIBRANT, it doesn't matter. It just glows. It is SO pigmented - it's like a liquid lipstick. It's hydrating. It's one of the most non-sticky lipglosses I've tried (it's noticeably less sticky than Bobbi Brown High Shimmer Lipgloss, for example). Usually I avoid drugstore lip products, because artificial scents give me headaches (I cannot wear the Super Lustrous Lipgloss formula due to the scent). I don't love the "scent" on this formula, which is somewhat artifical and plastic-y, but (to me) it's unobtrusive, and not noticeable during wear. One downside - it does bleed a tiny amount on me, but that's par for the course (for me) with highly pigmented, more "moveable" lip products. Overall: It truly is one of the absolute best lip products I've ever used. And from REVLON. Not a high end, or a mid end brand. A drugstore brand. Buy it, buy it NOW. 5 stars. Worth every single star.
The Star Treatment is a beautiful palette. The colours are stunning, and the textures are fantastic - so easy to apply and blend. I've tried 3 different combination with this palette so far, and I'm really looking forward to coming up with more! I'm really looking forward to more releases of the 8.0 palettes - I wish they were permanent items! I'm very glad I snagged this palette!
I love this lipglass - I've used up a whole tube and am halfway through another! It's a great lipcolour to pair with a dark eye, or a neutral eye, or to just throw on when you're wearing nothing but mascara and base product. It doesn't compete with other makeup, yet it doesn't disappear. I wouldn't say it's hydrating but it's not drying, like some lipglasses can be. Staple product for me!
I really dislike High Beam, and thus, I feel very much in a minority! I don't like how it applies - I find it sets too quickly, and I have no time to blend out the edges. It also can smudge my underlying makeup, and I find it "sits" on the skin and looks very obvious - perhaps due to the pinkness in the product. It's also too subtle and too obvious at the same time - too subtle because you can't see it unless the light is right, and too obvious because when you CAN see it, it looks stark and frosty. I want to love it, but I just can't!
This product does cancel out redness, and it does it very well - it looks lovely on, really brightens up the eye area. On me, however, it doesn't prevent creasing at all. It creases when worn alone, and when worn under eyeshadow. I have quite oily eyelids, so I rarely use this product.
This product doesn't work for me. I find it appears very orange/warm on me - over Benetint, it's better, but alone I dislike how it looks. It applies well, and blends easily - it doesn't impart much colour, mainly a light flush and sheen.
