I keep going back and forth on the palette. It’s really pretty, and the looks I’ve seen friends do with it are beautiful grunge goodness. But I do have other grungy palettes, with Juvia’s Place The Nomad being closest to this, I think. The yellow in this one, though — they’re more green tinged and whereas my other palettes have more orangish yellows. First world problems.
Strange as this may sound, I love the eyeliners far more than the palette. I’m really loving both shades!
The palette seems a bit odd looking to me. Like off somehow. Just one shimmer, and very yellow heavy to my eye.
The swatches look pretty good. I was thinking this would be a nice companion to my Melt Smoke Sessions palette. Otherwise I don’t like all matte palettes with just one shimmer in them. My old eyes look better with a little shimmer, lol

Mother of god, it looks like my mother’s kitchen in the 70s. Or maybe an off-brand motel from the same era? It reminds me of air pollution from leaded gas, Sir Beef restaurant decor and polyester jumpsuits. Not sure if that’s good or bad. It’s definitely an aesthetic. One probably more appealing to those too young to have firsthand memories of the era. *shudder*
As a 70’s child, I laughed so hard at this. You’re not wrong.

As an 80s child I have some remnant memories of walking in to other people’s houses with some of the colors, but luckily my own was a completely different style. I can appreciate the 70s color schemes making their comeback – they really do look good – without drowning in a sea of the *texture* of those colors. I still remember the way it “felt” walking in to houses and buildings decorated from the 70s and it’s not my favorite. But I love the updated vibe in some influencer photos, even if I can’t (or don’t want to) pull it off myself.
This is interesting since so many Melt palettes seem to have a fairly even mix of matte and shimmer, so this being mostly matte is refreshing in itself. I agree with Rachel that Juvia’s Nomad is probably a good palette to scratch the same itch at a much lower price.

I love yellows and greens, but for me there’s too much repetition here, and i’d like more shimmers.
Shotgun, Faded and Wax could be more distinct, and same goes for Blunt and Full Melt. I do love their eyeliner colors though.
I feel like Shot Gun may look a bit redundant, like the shade could be easily made by blending together Faded and Wax. And then there could be a different shade, deeper or lighter, instead to add a bit more contrast.
Promising swatches! But honestly, yellow, lime and stringly yellow based greens are not the colors I tend to gravitate the most.. moreover I have something similar in my stash, even if ‘softer’. I’m still waiting for a nice pigmented palette that lean more on emerald, teal and awua shades of green, more than yellowish and lime. But it seem not to be the trend at the moment

The eyeliners are tempting me, but they look very “wet” in all the pictures I’ve seen, and I’d worry about them drying out. I ‘ve never finished a ppt of eyeliner before, and I usually just get black!
In terms of Melt eyeshadows, this is seriously intriguing me. I loved the Vida palette, but the review it got wasn’t too encouraging towards actually purchasing something THAT pricy. Gemini and Rust are pretty, but there are a few color choices I personally can do without, and at 60 euros I’m not buying a palette with shades that won’t be used.
It’s an interesting palette – I’ve seen a bunch of Melt enthusiasts talk about how the similarities it has to previous palettes were kind of a letdown, as it’s essentially the acidic, corrosive fusion of Gemini and Vida in particular, and I get why. On the other hand, from my perspective as someone who’s been longingly eyeing both of those and does not own anything from the brand, that description is actually quite ideal, haha!
Majority matte also sounds promising to me, as I’ve noticed it’s typically the shimmers from Melt that get hit/miss quality ratings in here. Swatches look good, but the rating has to be good for me to burn my last 2020 low-buy allowed palette on this particular one. It’s so pretty, though…

I ended up with the palette & Spliff gel liner, but missed out on Wallflower… My WiFi decided to drag that morning, and by the time I switched out of it & got back on the site, it was gone… I’m not typically a fan of “colors” liners, but it’s so pretty & unique, plus I figure since only my eyes will be visible until around Thanksgiving, I may as well make the most of it!

While I don’t love the colors exactly, I do love Melt and I will be picking this up eventually. I’m just hoping to get it at a discount since it’s not something I’d reach for often.
I also think it’s important to note when a non-weed indulger likes weed themed things (frankly, only Melt seems to do it with real class, I hate the drugstore variety ones) and wants to purchase for the imagery. I’ve never smoked/eaten/etc weed and probably never will, but I can appreciate a company’s commitment to their inspiration and creating fully thought out collections honoring that. Yeah, shatter looks like those colors. Cool. And I dig their pan design. I have the Smoke Sessions palette and refuse to mess up the little weed in the pants with my brush.
Thank you so much for getting this! I was dying for good, and non-promotional, swatches!

The liners look great! Nearly all matte palette except for one shade. Not my color story though: I like smoke sessions better.

Just one shimmer! For an almost totally matte palette, I have to say that the swatches look really good. But these are not my shades, nor my finish.
I feel like Shot Gun may look a bit redundant, like the shade could be easily made by blending together Faded and Wax. And then there could be a different shade, deeper or lighter, instead to add a bit more contrast.
Hash and Chronic would look beautiful together as a duo in luxe packaging.
