Melt Cosmetics Amor y Mariposas Collection launches, officially, today on their website (November 23rd at Sephora), though the “PR Kit” was available for sale last week (which is what I purchased). The collection includes a 20-shade palette, six-pan blush palette, two gel liners, one gel pigment, three matte lipsticks, and two glitter lipsticks, which I’ve swatched in this post, along with three lip pencils, a brush set, and a mirror.

Wow, these swatches look pretty good! I really don’t need the palette, but I might snag that Amor Eterno lipstick. I don’t think I have anything like it already and it’s soooo pretty. And while I don’t use gel liner hardly at all anymore, I might got Colibri, because WOW is that GREEN.

Dang! This looks really good coming from Melt! Beautiful palette. It would have been nice if there were a shimmery purple or purple flash duochrome included.
However, it’s the rich gold and vivid green eyeliners that have won me over!

Well, I think Melt has scored a bit of a hit here – these swatches look really good. The blush palette has a wide variety of shades, probably too many to suit everyone.
Melt has a history of making lovely green shades and the ones in the palette are beautiful. And the gel liner Colibri is such a sensational colour.

The glitter lipsticks and the gel liners!!. I’m not sure they are my game face, but I appreciate the intensity and fierce looking quality.

Really disappointed that the blush palette has 5 really similar shades. Another Melt launch I’ll be skipping. I keep waiting for the Gunmetal stack to become a palette like Melt claimed 2 yrs ago

I was trying so hard not to buy the eyeshadow palette but wow those swatches look gorgeous. I’ll probably just order it since I can get it for 25% off right now and i love every Melt product I own so far.

This looks a lot better than I thought it would. I do know that they can make lovely eyeshadows, but for some reason I thought this would one wouldn’t be as good.
I’ll pass on the whole collection, even the lovely Colibri.
I think I might have been really tempted by the palette, but having bought three outstanding colourful palettes this year, I don’t find that I need this.
I really like the shimmery lipsticks, and the matte look quite lovely.
I also love one of the blushes, Flor, but would hardly use the other ones.

Hey, thanks for that code! I just ordered the colibri liner along with a whole bunch of other stuff I absolutely don’t need. They have some items (like pencil eye liners) already on sale and with that code each pencil was only 6.75$. I don’t know if the pencils are as awesome as the gel liners (the formula of which I generally adore), but for 6.75 I am willing to take the risk.

I won’t be picking up the palette, but I hope the shimmers are better quality, which is the reason I don’t buy Melt….not a fan of their shimmer formula.
