Marc Jacobs Beauty See-quins Liquid Eyeshadow Swatches
For spring–yes, ’tis the season for spring 2020 releases!–there’s the new Marc Jacobs Beauty See-quins Liquid Eyeshadow ($24.00 for 0.19 fl. oz.), which is available in six shades. Per the brand, it’s supposed to be long-wearing, crease-resistant, and easy to wear for “everyday glam that lasts.” Here are swatches:
The ones I like best – Topaz Flash, Smoked Glass and Gleam Girl – seem to blend out to almost nothing, looking at the swatches, which seems to defeat the purpose. I suppose they’d make good bases for other shadows, if they are as long wearing as the company suggests.
From my review FAQ: “Most cream formulas are shown as a regular swatch, and then deliberately blended and sheered out โ e.g. cream eyeshadows are shown โas-isโ as well as a sheer wash of color.” They are deliberately shown sheered out for those who wear their cream/liquid eyeshadows as washes. The left swatch is one layer.
These look perfectly lovely – especially Smoked Glass and Copperazzi.
Okay, gotcha! This would make sense after all, not everyone wears full-on eye looks.
That’s weird….my comment wound up in the wrong spot. Sorry Genevieve, my comment under yours was supposed to be my comment back to Christine, LOL!
These swatches look pretty sketchy.
Other than Copperazzi, these blend into nothingness. Although I do like the aforementioned and possibly Moonstoned as an inner tearduct waterproof barrier.

Copperazzi and Topaz Flash look like my kind of colors. I have MJ Topaz Flash See-quins eye shadow might be cool to pair them together.
Moonstoned! <3
Iโm in love with copperazzi…
