Makeup Geek Soulmate Blush ($10.00 for 0.15 oz.) is a muted, medim-dark plum with neutral-to-cool undertones and a matte finish. KIKO 112 Light Plum (P, $12.00) is lighter, brighter (90% similar). ColourPop Just My Pluck (LE, $12.00) is lighter, warmer (90% similar). Urban Decay TMI (DC, $26.00) is more shimmery, warmer (90% similar). Urban Decay Cheap Shot (DC, $26.00) is warmer (85% similar). Smashbox Bitten (LE, ) is brighter (85% similar). Tom Ford Beauty Gratuitous (P, $60.00) is more shimmery, darker, brighter (85% similar). Urban Decay Sesso (Blush) (PiP, ) is lighter, warmer (85% similar). Cover FX Sweet Mulberry (Left) (PiP, ) is less shimmery, darker (85% similar). LORAC Chroma (P, $23.00) is darker, brighter (85% similar). Giorgio Armani Cool Mauve (50) (P, $38.00) is less shimmery, darker, warmer (80% similar). The formula is supposed to be pigmented, long-wearing, and blendable (for more on how it compares to the previous formula, check out this post). This is one of the less-pigmented shades in the line-up, as it had more semi-sheer to medium coverage. The texture didn’t seem as smooth or as finely-milled either, which made blending it out more work than it has been with the other shades (and I don’t think it, ultimately, evened out as much as I wanted it to, looking back at the photo). The texture seemed to become more blendable after a few uses, so there was that, but I wish it was softer like the other shades I’ve tried, as the color is lovely and harder to dupe. This shade lasted for eight hours on me before fading.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Oops, ordered this sight unseen, and I should know better! First C in my recollection, for a mug blush. Hasn’t come yet. Well, as the saying goes, make it work! I get sucked in by the discount…..

I must say I love this one and Puppy Love a lot from the new range! I ordered a couple of the old range that were still on the MUG site and while I do like that satin finish better, there were no issues at all with Soulmate for me.. hopefully you ll like it 🙂
