Makeup Geek Smitten Blush ($9.99 for 0.15 oz. pan; $12.99 for 0.15 oz. compact) is described as a “pale creamy apricot.” It’s a brightened, liight-medium peachy orange with warm undertones and a semi-matte finish. Surratt Beauty Cantaloup (P, $32.00) is yellower. Dior Amber (002) (LE, $56.00) is yellower. MAC Blazing Haute (LE, $25.00) is darker, yellower. MAC Peaceful (LE, $24.00) is similar. Sisley Paris Mango (3) (P, $85.00) is lighter. MAC Cream Soda (LE, $21.00) is lighter, pinker. Illamasqua Lover (P, $26.00) is a touch darker. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

What’s nice about this particular shade of peach-orange is that it doesn’t lean too yellow or too red, so it is easier to wear, regardless of cool or warm undertones. The finish is mostly matte but does produce a more natural finish once blended and buffed into the skin. The texture was soft, silky, and smooth, while it had good color payoff. On me, this shade stayed on for eight hours before it started to fade.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Hi Nancy,

I’m not sure that I have Peaches! I’m missing a lot of MAC’s permanent blushes (I bought some, but I haven’t had a chance to photograph them, so I can’t swatch either, lol! they’ve been on the to-do list since June ’13). I did a quick Google search and couldn’t find a review for it. I remember Peaches being a bit browner, not quite as orange as Smitten.

other than cool lavender based pink blushes, this would be my second in line for blush tones that make me look positively sickly so I have an entirely subjective negative opinion which does not speak to the quality of the product. Needless to say, this wasn’t one of my picks so can safely leave this to those who can work it better than I.

It is always best to check the brand’s website, as they will always have the most current information regarding something like if it is important to you!

It is listed here: http://www.makeupgeek.com/store/face-products/blushes/makeup-geek-blush-pan/makeup-geek-blush-pan-smitten.html

YCBB…well, you know what that must mean. Just gorgeous on you, but completely natural. The MUG blushes are giving MAC LE run for the sold out money. Thank God they’re permanent!
