Make Up For Ever Sharp Nude, Classy Lace, Fiery Sienna Rouge Artist Lipsticks Reviews & Swatches
Sharp Nude (152)
Make Up For Ever Sharp Nude (152) Rouge Artist Lipstick (2020) ($23.00 for 0.11 oz.) is a medium beige with subtle, cool undertones and a satin finish. It had nearly opaque color coverage paired with a lightly creamy consistency that felt more velvety in its glide than traditionally emollient.
It was very lightweight, thin but not clingy, but it was more prone to settling into my lip lines. This shade lasted well for four hours but settled a bit more into my lip lines over time. The formula felt lightly moisturizing while worn.

Formula Overview
$23.00/0.11 oz. - $209.09 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to "blur, smooth, and hydrate" with "intensity of a matte and the comfort of a cream" and delivers "ultra-pigment[ation]." The consistency reminded me of the more new-school "matte" formulas that feel velvety without wetness/shine--the ones that feel more silicone-heavy and primer-like, which are often thinner, too. I'd say that the new Rouge Artist formula has a little more traditional creaminess, so there was a satin shine (which was as marketed--satin finish!).
The consistency was smooth, lightweight, and thin without feeling clingy. In the close-up photos, there were several shades that looked like there were little bits scattered on my lips, almost like it had pilled, though I didn't feel it when I pressed my lips together and couldn't see it in person.
They had mostly opaque to opaque color coverage in a single layer. Most shades applied evenly and sat well enough on my lips, though there were some that emphasized my lip lines slightly. They wore for four to six hours on me with some of the very rich, deeper shades lasting a little longer than that. The formula felt mostly non-drying to lightly hydrating to me.
There was a sweet, slightly floral scent that was noticeable on for the first few minutes, but I didn't notice any taste.

Classy Lace (156)
Make Up For Ever Classy Lace (156) Rouge Artist Lipstick (2020) ($23.00 for 0.11 oz.) is a light, rosy brown with moderate, warm undertones and a satin finish. It was richly pigmented with a smooth, lightly creamy texture that was thin, more velvety but not clingy.
It applied evenly to my lips for the most part, but there was a smidgen of product that settled into my lip lines, which was more noticeable after two and a half hours of wear. The lipstick stayed on well for four hours and felt lightly hydrating over time.

Fiery Sienna (158)
Make Up For Ever Fiery Sienna (158) Rouge Artist Lipstick (2020) ($23.00 for 0.11 oz.) is a soft, medium pink with warm undertones and a satin finish. It had nearly opaque color payoff in a single stroke, which applied evenly and didn’t emphasize my natural lip texture.
The lipstick felt lightly creamy with more of a velvety slip, so it didn’t feel wet or slide around during wear. It wore nicely for four hours and felt lightly moisturizing over time.

Classy Lace is my pick! It looks like a very good “nude” for me. And I love that it’s warm, but not too warm.
Fiery Sienna is also a lovely shade. But, boy is that name misleading, MUFE!
I too thought that. I was expecting something redder and browner.
I actually said, “Oh wow!” when I saw this on you (Fiery Sienna)! This lip color and makeup is so everyday, fresh Spring you! Lovely Christine, you are really simply beautiful! You’re a bit lighter than me in skin tone, so now I’m trying to figure out which of MUFE’s new lipsticks would best suit me, like this one does you. I’m NC 37 in Mac, PMG 13 (best match). What would you suggest in a nude (ever so pink – taupe) in MUFE’s new line? Classy Lace seems a little more muted like I usually like, but the Fiery Sienna looks soooo fresh!
Classy Lace and Fiery Sienna are lovely shades, but Fiery Sienna is nothing like its name!
I really like the look of Firey Sienna, I think I would have liked it if it had actually been a firey sienna colour as well. 🙂
I checked, and rechecked the dupes, and have none, so this one went to the wish list.
These are all up my alley but Sharp Nude especially.
Luckily I have more than one dupe.
Fiery Sienna is a perfect MLBB on you Christine! So fresh and pretty.
