Make Up For Ever 11 Golden Orange Star Lit Powder Review, Photos, Swatches
11 Golden Orange
Make Up For Ever 11 Golden Orange Star Lit Powder ($21.00 for 0.02 oz.) is a slightlty muted, medium-dark coral with warm, golden shimmer and a stronger pink undertone. It had sheer coverage applied dry, which intensified to nearly opaque coverage when applied damp. The consistency was soft, finely-milled, and blendable on the skin (both wet and dry), and it was somewhat buildable–up to medium coverage–dry when I applied it to the cheeks, but it was less buildable on the eyes without a dampened brush or primer. It wore well for eight hours on my cheeks and seven and a half hours on my eyes.
The Star Lit Powders can be used to “highlight eyes, lips and cheeks” with an “ultra-fine loose powder” that can be used “wet or dry to customize coverage intensity and luminosity.” While checking the weight on these, I noticed that the weight differs from shade to shade; this one had a mere 0.02 oz. while others ranged from 0.03 oz. to 0.09 oz. I also noticed that it appears the brand identifies what area you can use a shade on by listing an icon on the back of the jar in the shape of a pair of lips, an eyeball, and then a face (presumably for cheeks).

Oh wow! This is really pretty on the cheeks! Another one to add to the list to check out haha. I’m glad it reviewed well.
It is a beauty! 🙂
Golden Orange is not the first colour I would have thought of but it’s lovely! It’s a unique shade for medium skintones!
It is a nice color!
This is so pretty!
Agreed!
Not a colour for me, but I definitely like it on you.
Thank you, Wendy!
Oh my gosh this is stunning!! It reminds me of ColourPop shadow in As You Wave. I’m just kind of sad there seems to be so little product for the price
I hear ya – the downside of a loose product!
It’s a beauty, that’s for sure! Made me immediately think of my beloved CP As You Wave Supershock shadow. Also, a shade in my Yes, Please palette, too? So I’m guessing that this has become a rather common and easy shade to obtain. But I really DO still love how it looks anyway.
Yes, definitely in that vein 🙂
Wow! When it’s opaque, the color is super pretty! What a beautiful sheen!
The finish was lovely!
This might be my favorite of these Star Lit Powders.
That is really nice on you. I’m not sure how it would translate on me, but holy crap it’s smile inducing!
