Make Up For Ever I872 Pearly Pink Artist Shadow ($21.00 for 0.08 oz.) is a brightened, cool-toned light pink with a pearly, almost metallic, sheen. It had excellent color payoff with a soft, dense texture that was a cinch to work with. It wore well for almost nine hours before creasing slightly. ColourPop Sugar Plum (P, $5.00) is less metallic. Too Faced Pink Frosting (LE, $16.00) is similar. MAC Harpooned Heart (LE, $15.00) is similar. Make Up For Ever I902 Quartz (P, $21.00) is darker. Milani Bella Pink (13) (P, $3.99) is cooler-toned. Tarina Tarantino Diamond Dusk #2 (LE) is lighter MAC Fresh & Mint #2 (P, $21.00) is lighter. MAC Young Venus (LE, $19.50) is similar. bareMinerals Muse (P) is less metallic. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

Make Up For Ever D862 Fairly Pink Artist Shadow ($21.00 for 0.08 oz.) is a sparkling, light-medium pink with warm, yellow undertones and a frosted finish with sparkle. It had good color payoff, though not quite opaque, that was buildable to fully opaque color very easily. The texture was soft, smooth, and blendable on the skin. It adhered well without a fuss, and the color itself lasted well for almost nine hours, but I did have some fall out over time. ColourPop Bubbly (P, $5.00) is a cream product. MAC Noble Descent (LE, $19.50) is lighter. Too Faced Kindness is Free (LE, $16.00) is less sparkly. Too Faced Paper Roses (LE, $16.00) is warmer. Chanel Rose des Vents (94) (LE, $36.00) is a cream product, darker. Sephora Collection Star-Crossed Lovers (103) (P, $13.00) is similar. Chanel Impulsion (93) (LE, $36.00) is lighter. Sleek MakeUP Sunset #12 (P, $9.99) iis similar. MAC Love Power (LE, $21.00) is a cream product. Le Metier de Beaute Gamine (LE, $30.00) is less sparkly. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

Make Up For Ever I824 Ocher Pink Artist Shadow ($21.00 for 0.08 oz.) is a copper-red with warm undertones and a soft, pearly finish. It had excellent color payoff–a little goes a long way–with a buttery, dense, and smooth consistency that applied like a dream. This shade really exemplifies what makes the Artist Shadow range so fantastic. It wore well for nine and a half hours before creasing. Sephora + Pantone Universe Marsala Satin (LE) is slightly warmer. ColourPop Drift (LE, $5.00) is darker, cream. MAC It’s Not Easy Having a Good Time (LE, $21.00) is darker. Urban Decay Sonic (LE, $18.00) is warmer. Marc Jacobs Beauty The Siren #2 (LE) is lighter. NARS Cambodia (LE, $24.00) is warmer. Kat Von D WTF (LE) is more muted. Sleek MakeUP Sunset #8 (P, $9.99) is more shimmery. Sleek MakeUP Sunset #2 (P, $9.99) is redder. Urban Decay Gash (DC, $18.00) is darker. MAC Saffron (LE, $15.00) is warmer. MAC Cranberry (P, $15.00) is darker, cooler-toned. MAC Coppering (P, $15.00) is warmer. MAC Spicy Smoke (LE, $32.50) is similar. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

These are beautiful. Thank you for sharing some good pink eyeshadows with us. Pink Ocher is flat out amazing, and definitely going on my “to buy” list.

Well, it works out perfectly for your readers. If we like the colors of recent offerings, but the shadows are looking dismal, you can always find us something good in the same color range.

I love that you don’t wear falsies for your pics! I dig the more “natural” look with lashes, sometimes falsies can just completely take over & basically overshadow the eyeshadow work.
I824 Ocher Pink is awesome! It’s a color that I nvr would have considered getting online.. prob because of the mass selection, it can be a sensory overload lol!

The color combo is too warm for me, but looks great on you. It never ceases to amaze me how you can look great in so many colors. If I owned a makeup company, I would sign you up as my model !! Anyways, given all the disappointing new shadows lately (Hourglass, Dior), thank goodness for the MUFE Artist shadows. The packaging for their custom kits is very plain, but they spent all the money on the pigment and formula

very interesting eye look. i would have never thought to use that shade of liner on the lower lid. i’ll try this look on myself although i don’t know if it will work considering i am a half shade ligher in skintone but have dark brown, almost black eyes

I love when you do the MUFE artist shadow reviews and looks..makes my decision making in this area so much easier! I still like “Fairly Pink” even with a little fallout. I use primer anyway. Thanks to your notification, now I know to use my Too Faced “glitter glue” with this one. Probably would help it build easier as well. It is pretty tacky.

Sometimes I do a little research on the shades I’m interested in right before I go to sleep and I end up lying awake organizing them in my head lmao! That’s my neurosis for ya. Keep me away from the blush shades oy I’d lose my mind.

Sylirael Avatar

So the application isn’t immediately opaque with that second one, eg? Would you say that makes it only ‘fairly pink’ at first swipe? Amirite?! *waggles eyebrows*

Sorry 😛

It is my favourite of the three, so it’s a bit of a shame that it has some issues, but even the ‘duds’ from the MUFE artist range seems to be prett ydecent, LOL!

I’m quite certain I’m the only one, but I just can’tbring myself to even look at these in-store… Perhaps it’s because the first few I swatched didn’t impress me, or my simple disdain for brands “reformulating” perfectly good products. I really like the “old” MUFE shadows I have, and I preferred the color range. That said, some of the shades are quite pretty, but most are ones I’d rarely wear, and the pans are so large, LOL! The “neutrals” I’ve seen in person run quite warm, but many in the old line were amazing.
