Make Up For Ever I318 Linen Khaki Artist Shadow
Make Up For Ever I318 Linen Khaki Artist Shadow ($21.00 for 0.07 oz.) is a lightly brightened, pastel green with warm, yellow undertones and a subtle sparkle and pearly sheen. It was richly pigmented with a very smooth, creamy consistency that bordered on feeling more like a cream eyeshadow than a powder one. The texture remained blendable on the lid, adhered well to bare skin, and wore well for nine hours before creasing slightly. Make Up For Ever I330 Linden Green (P, $21.00) is darker. Make Up For Ever D316 Crystalline Pinky Green (P, $21.00) is more sparkly. Tarina Tarantino Secret Pond (LE) is darker. bareMinerals Wicked (P) is slightly darker. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
Make Up For Ever I212 Periwinkle Artist Shadow ($21.00 for 0.07 oz.) is a brightened, medium-dark periwinkle blue with cool undertones and a satiny sheen. It had full color coverage with a lightly creamy, blendable texture that was easy to use. On me, it lasted well for nine hours before fading. Hello Kitty Dear Daniel (LE) is darker. Wet ‘n’ Wild I Don’t Do Camouflage #3 (LE, $2.29) is darker. NARS Rated R #2 (P, $24.00) is darker. MAC Winkle (P, $15.00) is darker. bareMinerals On the Rocks (P) is darker. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
Make Up For Eve ME232 Turquoise Blue Artist Shadow ($21.00 for 0.07 oz.) is a bright, blue-teal with a hint of gold shimmer and frosted finish. It was incredibly pigmented and a little goes a long, long way. The consistency is soft, dense, and buttery and goes on the same way. It started to fade after nine and a half hours of wear. Makeup Geek Poolside (P, $5.99) is darker, more muted. Kat Von D Bukowski (LE) is bluer. Disney by Sephora Blue Lagoon (LE) is darker, less shimmery. Sephora Collection Surfin’ USA (14) (P, $13.00) is slightly darker. Urban Decay Peace (P, $18.00) is bluer. Urban Decay Peace (DC, $18.00) is bluer. Maybelline Tenacious Teal (P, $6.99 is bluer.) Make Up For Ever #83 (DC, $20.00) is darker. Inglot #415 (P, $6.00) is lighter. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

Ooh they’re all so pretty! Make Up For Ever is making it really hard to only choose a few. At least they’re permanent!
Love the eye look you did Christine!
Thank you, AJ!! 🙂
Love the eye look you created -reminds me of a mermaid! Nice to see some blues get good ratings –blues are hard to get right
I totally get that vibe from it 😀
Gorgeous without looking too overdone!
Thank you, Sheena!
I love the eye look that you did, Christine! These shadows really bring out your eye colour.
Aw, thanks a lot, Evelyn!
The more I look at MUFE’s new eyeshadows, the more I know how stellar they are in terms of beauty, quality and even uniqueness of colors, the more I love them!
I’m definitely gonna get PERIWINKLE !!!!!!!
Periwinkle is SO lovely!!
Pretty, not colors I’d reach for but I like them.
Always fun to look at 😀
You know, I get kinda jealous when I see you wearing all these beautiful teal/blue/turquoise shades! They’re my favorite colors after purple and I just can’t pull them off at all, they just don’t work with my skin tone.
I definitely want Linen Khaki. I’m sure it will look great with all the warmer green and olive shades that I wear!
Linen Khaki is PERFECT! with other greens.
I never would have thought Linen Khaki would have such a pronounced green tint to it just from looking at it in the pan. FYI, when I click on the dupes for it (in the first part of the review), I get one of the blue shadows instead.
Should be fixed! 😀
Love your eye look, transports me right into summer!
Thanks, Pami! 🙂
<3_<3
DAT TURQUOISE THO. DAT EYE LOOK THO.
<3_<3
Periwinkle is also gorgeous (although a little too close to baby/powder blue to be my personal definition of 'periwinkle') – speaking of naming, though: when I saw 'linen khaki' I got a mental image… and then when I saw the shadow it matched perfectly! I was totally thrown – it almost never happens that I agree so strikingly with makeup colour naming, LOL!
How awesome that a brand finally nailed the naming/color 😀
That turquoise blue is stunning! Reminds me of palm beaches!
It is a very beachy-themed look!
First of all, that eye look is extremely gorgeous. Wow!
All three of these shades a beautiful. I swear 99% of MUFE’s shadows are on my “buy someday” list.
You must get a few — someday 🙂
I own about a dozen or so now, so I’ve been slowly eating away at the “someday” list.
Nice 😀
Love that Linen Khaki colour – so gorgeous. The other colours are pretty, but too bright for me. Stunning eye look again Christine.
Thanks, Genevieve 🙂
Beautiful colors and a great application on your eyes, Christine. Would not have thought to put the 2 blues together but stunning.
Thank you, Susan! 🙂
Beautiful colors on you Christine- wow! Not sure I could pull these colors off but I love them!
They’re very fun shades 😉
Turquoise is so vibrant and beautiful!!
It is!
I love this look and you know I love these shadows. You may have just made my next 3 to buy . That seems to be the best way for me to budget them in. 3 a week. I’m not sure how these blues would do on hazel eyes? what do you think?I always go for purples/plum/golds/greens/neutral/orangish colors and nudes..If I do a bold color,I usually pop one on the outer v or inner or lower lashline or inner rim. Idk, do you think this would be too much blueness? I would do this with purples. I need to learn to step out of my comfort zone more. But, I want it to be flattering. I like eyes. That’s the first thing I do i will skip a lip and contour if I need to and pop on a quick blush and gloss. But that screams summer.. I love it!
These should totally work with hazel eyes if you like them on me – I have hazel eyes! 😉
I think you could totally work. If you’re wearing purple, go blue! It is the next logical step.
OMG! I totally thought your eyes were brown until I looked on my phone! You can see the hazel way more prominently on my phone than my rickety PC(time for upgrade, lol). I am sorry! I just jotted these down for my 3 to buy this week! Yeah! thanks for the looks idea! I love, love, love you looks! They are so refreshingly wearable.I also love that you pull it off without liner because I really don’t like applying liner to much. So, on the daily, I do not 🙂 We have pretty close coloring which is awesome because that means I can use you to pick shades for those brands that I have no counter near me of like Guerlain and TomFord! Your skin is slightly darker, like me when I get summer color. We will leave the age factor out, lol! You are a stunning young woman for sure! I am so honored to get to use you for my shade selection model, lol! Oh I did get to take my daughter to Louisville sat..just FYI. I found a friend who rode with us. Hope you got to do something outside of work this weekend doll!
I’m really hoping Makeup Forever releases more palettes!! Buying the colors separately is so expensive!
Me too!!
This look just screams SPRING! Gorgeous. I “need” to get some of these shadows. The hardest part is narrowing down my choices!
Such a huge, huge range!! Too many to choose from!
Beautiful Eye look Christine.. you paired that baby blue and turquoise blue so well.. <3
Loving MUFE eye shadows so many pretty shades to choose from.. 😛
Thank you so much, Poonam!
So beautiful! I’ve got to get Periwinkle — it is *so* my kind of color — and I am sorely tempted by Linen Khaki even though light yellow-greens are hard for me to wear in a flattering way — no, I really want them all!
It is so nice to work with – it has a lot of the qualities of a matte, but the satin finish makes it so much easier to work with.
Oh wow, that turquoise shade is BEAUTIFUL! Want 🙂
It is a gorgeous blue!
I love the shade of Periwinkle so much! But probably I would be too shy to wear it, I have no clue how I would combine it!
Love your mermaid-y look <3
As an eyeliner, in the crease, or to take it down, you could wear it on the inner part of the lid with a smokier gray/black on the outer area!
Thank you, Carla! 🙂
Hmmm that does not look periwinkle. 🙁
