I’m so disappointed about this collection. I was really excited for it to come out because I thought that it was going to be fun and colourful like Mia Moretti herself (like fun packaging etc) but there’s just nothing in this collection that looks fun enough/not dupable enough for me to go and buy it. (Although the lip palette is very original, I can’t imagine myself wearing pastel blue and pastel mint often, so I might as well save my monies for future releases 🙂 )

Seriously? All 3 collections are coming on 26th March online? MAC trying to break the Internet and taking all our money (willingly). Philip Treacy deserves special packaging though.. why not MAC??

I am very intrigued by that lip palette, but I have learned to not get my hopes up when it comes to Mac collections. I’ll wait for your review of it before I buy it.

That lip palette looks really fun, but I have those kinds of colors already covered. I wish MAC had done an eye palette in those shades. Pass.

I really need to stop hoping MAC will delight us with amazing packaging. Every time I click on a collection the back of my brain carries a tiny torch of hope the packaging will be cool. That promptly gets doused with a cold bucket of promo pics! 🙁

I like the idea of the blue and green lipsticks, but I’m not going to drop big money on a palette just to get them. And another bright red lipstick? Another one? Come on, MAC…

Christine, so there will be 3 MAC Collections launched on the 26 th of March?
Mac is Beauty, Philip treacy and also Mia moretti ?
I asked them on their online chat and they said they don’t know.

I’m confused. Is this different than the Mia moretti collection that’s on Mac.com now? Is she getting 2 collections? I can’t keep up with Mac lately. Still mad about the push back of the Julia Petit collection.

The lip palette looks interesting. It’s cool that they have some less standard shades – I’m kind of amused that the nude shade is the only one I *don’t* like / wouldn’t wear.

That lip palette is love! I’m working a phone job, so I’ve been experimenting with non-standard lipstick colors (I got a very pretty blue one from Amphigory.com, a really nice indie makeup company) would jump on it if those top two colors weren’t so “blurgh” and boring-colored. A nude and a baby pink don’t really seem to fit in with the palette…

Depending on how well the green, blue, and lavender preform, I may pick it up anyway, so I’m waiting for your review! <3

I have wanted to invest in MAC for since I was a teenager & the Viva Glam campaign launched, but have only tested out a single lipstick/lip glass combo in 2000, & a paint pot several years ago. I just decided to revisit the brand, purchasing 4 or 5 of their most popular brushes & the Prime/Fix Spray. I foolishly thought I would have a chance at picking up the Cinderella e/s palette (LOL!!!), but I missed it online (I didn’t realize it would sell out within a couple of hours), & the entire collection sold out locally within half an hour (even though it launched during a snow storm & people had to risk life & limb to get a piece)! Now I’m reading about all these collections (esp. LEs) launching in March, & I’m really beginning to feel overwhelmed. I’m not trying to complain, it’s just something I’m not used to, coming from other brands that launch seasonally, like Too Faced or Urban Decay. It seems, from reading the comments on all these recent posts, that this is indeed a bit abnormal… but if it isn’t, I’m in trouble! I’m going to have to put myself through Cosmetology School (something I’ve considered many times, for love of the Art), in order to qualify for the Professional Discount I’m going to need to afford to build my collection! 😉
