MAC can have it all. First Selena in 2016, now Mariah Carey too? Then I’ll have a Mariah lipstick this holiday? I’m in makeup heaven. Three of my vices coming together – makeup, Mariah, and Selena! I remember Mariah saying in the 90s that Spice liner was her top lip product. I can’t wait!

This depends entirely upon the level of frost.. I did the crap out of big pale uber frosty lips in the 80’s I hate HATE seeing photos where I have this cool muted purple frost lipstick that I wore to absolute death. I find a subtle frost or shimmer very flattering (oooh typing this just reminded me to pull out Guerlain Kiss Kiss in Red Strass) I wish there were more lipsticks with interesting and unique subtle shimmers and frosts (blue or purple frost on a 80’s brown for example).

Have you seen Lipstick Queen’s Butterfly Ball lipsticks? They have a slight blueish duochrome to them and one of the colors may be up your alley!

I’m thrilled that MAC has chosen to go with a classic icon for the first time in a long time. I love the promotional pic. I love that era of Mariah. I hope MAC does more collaborations like this. This is reminiscent of the old MAC before all of the Rihanna collections and the dodgy formulas.
