Me four! If ANYBODY deserves a collection built around their style it is her.

MAC Don’t you dare pull any stunts on this one. It is one item. Don’t RUIN Christmas!

We get Rihanna Arianna Areola, please sweet makeup gods give us something that anybody above 30 years old will be excited for.

Is it just me, or is the photoshopping on this really weird? I think it’s the texture of her skin in this that feels off to me, but maybe it’s something else.

Yes, yes, yes, Y E S!!! It’s been a long time coming for this collabo to finally happen. I was truly expecting (in my dreams) she’d have a full line with MAC like lashes, lipstick of course, lipglass, and blush. By the looks of the lippie on Dita, I am assuming it’s a creamsheen finish? Because her face is very matte and she’s only releasing lipstick and no lipglass in sight.

I mourn the possibilities they overlooked with this collection. Leather, black lace, fishnets, diamonds, opulence: how magnificent a Dita-inspired collection could have been!!!

Way too “full on” red for me. At my age (really – I am probably older than almost everyone who posts here) I wouldn’t feel comfortable wearing something this bright and I think I’m also getting to the point where I’m tired of “names/celebs” being attached to products to beef up the buying frenzy. I’m thinking it’s not all that hard to find a red similar to this from many brands (Bite, Nars and, yes, even MAC).

Mariella I’m probably with you on the age thing but Ive been trying more vibrant lip colors and am pleasantly surprised how great they look I may give this a go probably the most exciting mac release in a long time they ca ditch the Mariah on !!

It will be interesting to see swatches and a review on this. I too wish tey had donea slightly bigger, kind of unusual collection, some lashes, beauty marks, as someone mentioned, and maybe a powder of some kind.
I do think MAC does too many collections right before Christmas every year. I feel as though I miss a lot if I don’t check online and in store every other day 😀

Sigh. MAC has completely missed a wonderful opportunity with this launch. This collaboration feels like something that should have happened a long time ago. Instead, MAC has become tiresome instead of exciting with their nonstop limited editions. So much so that I think Dita is the only one who could make me buy another lipstick from MAC. Yes I will buy this because I love Dita. However, I really wish someone in MAC’s marketing department would point out to them that they are becoming overly accessible and therefore nothing is exciting anymore. The quality seems to be suffering too. I just hope this lipstick is the high quality that something with Dita’s name deserves.

Oooooh me want!! Pretty red. Thank god Mac is coming out with a holiday red. I was upset before. Red is the only shade I wear and would wear during the holidays!

It’s a shame that they over photoshoped her ! She looks like Natalie Portman in Black swan.
This picture doesn’t do justice to Dita.

I’m still in looove with my rouge G in Rouge Parade from the last holiday, my one and only red lipstick !
So I don’t feel the need on an other red lipstick.
Even Dita may have Rouge Parade in her red lipsticks collection. Any red lipstick lover should try this. And if Guerlain repromote Rouge Parade, I would get one more as backup. I prefere to buy 1 rouge G rather than 2-3 other red lipsticks. It’s the one that made me want to wear red on lips, it’s just that good.
Sorry MAC ! Your marketing of trying to associate celebs+product doesn’t work on me. My wallet is safe when i see this kind of “new products/collection”.

I agree with many other comments. Dita deserves a bigger collection, with a creative packaging that reflects her personal style.
Please, Mac! Make it happen!

I’m confused by their marketing…if the lipstick is matte, what do the press photos and packaging show a gloss finish? Looks like a great color, but I would prefer it in a gloss finish.
