MAC x Charlotte Olympia Collection for Spring 2016

Inspired by pin-ups, silver screen sirens and the bygone era of old Hollywood glamour, British luxury shoe and accessory brand Charlotte Olympia collaborates with M∙A∙C on an unapologetically nostalgic collection of retro-glam colour. Coming Spring 2016.

“Charlotte Olympia Dellal is not only a true talent in the design and fashion world, but also a timeless beauty whose products – infused with whimsy, colour and fun – speak perfectly to the M·A·C aesthetic. Her playful and stylish accessories are the ultimate inspiration for makeup; the playfulness and variety in the M·A·C Charlotte Olympia collection is one we can’t wait to share with the world.” — James Gager, M∙A∙C Senior Vice President/Group Creative Director James Gager

“This is my dream collection! The inspiration for the collection comes from my love of a bygone era that manifests itself in my day-to-day beauty look as well as featuring my design aesthetic. I have always enjoyed the ritual of dressing up and wanted to unleash my inner movie star!” — Charlotte Olympia Dellal

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! I’m overdue for an eye check. Does that say Spring 2016? Is this releasing soon?
Otherwise, I love the theme. Promo shot is beautiful. But, this could be an easily dupable collection. Still, I’m going to be checking it out and looking forward to reviews!

Oh goodness, so we’ll see sneak peeks of Summer 2016 next week? This is getting kind of crazy. Hmm, seems like more of a holiday collection to me, but we’ll see

I have a feeling that my beloved Maria Moretti lipstick will be making a comeback under a different name! (or at least I hope so! )
Old Hollywood glam/ pin-up style, especially when I throw in a slightly edgy spin on it, is a no-brainer go-to look for me.

Promo image is beautiful! I would of thought it was for the holidays too. I don’t often buy MAC stuff but maybe I can spoil myself a bit lol. Can’t wait to see the packaging too.

If they put that spider and spider web on the packaging, heaven help me. I’ll be all over that. I’ve got plenty of time to save. Of course, the way early releases are going lately, the Spring 2016 could be out in October. lol

Who’d like to put money on, say, at least one matte red lipstick? I’d really like MAC to incorporate that rose gold spiderweb design into the packaging somehow, buuuut I’m guessing this will be one of those small collections where the packaging won’t be any different to normal.
