What’s Swatch Saturday? I can’t always review products with full, in-depth reviews, but sometimes, I can at least give you photos and swatches, and then also provide a link to dupes and comparisons for those interested! This also helps us to build up our Swatch Gallery and add even more entries to The Dupe List, which can be helpful to readers at any point.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Hey Christine, the dupes for Haux are missing from the post. I only noticed because I like that shade so much. Love these warm purples; thanks for posting!

I have Vibrant Grape and although it’s a gorgeous colour I find it very, very stiff, almost impossible to get out of the pan! Is this a problem that anyone else has had or have I just got a dud?

Would you say that Stars n Rockets is like a warm version of UD grifter, or am I very much on the wrong track? I’m trying to see if I can justify getting it, but I don’t think I can if it’s too similar to grifter.

I have been looking for a dupe for the Twilight eyeshadow in Bobbi Brown’s Desert Twilight palette from last year since I got it! It was the only useable shade in the palette, but at least it showed me how good I looked in the warm shades of rose brown. Naked3 was too cool, but a few of these shades look perfect. Shale is a good dupe for BB’s Twilight, but to see that Makeup Geek has a color with the exact same name that looks like the exact same color is even better! Her plums may be closer to my perfect shades than MAC’s are! Thank you for your reviews and your dupes! You found my dupe and introduced me to a new and less expensive line! Now I just need a dupe for the bronzer that came in the same collection. It was called Bahama Brown when it was a blush,, and it is a mauvy brown as well. When swiped on my hand, the blush is not that different from the eyeshadow – I may find a match amoung MAC’s eyeshadows for my beloved blush/bronzer!

I tried to hunt for one for the bronzer shade of Bahama Brown, but pretty much everything that came particularly close was LE, but here were the ones I could think of: http://www.temptalia.com/swatch-gallery?sg=164315,140883,140481,125386,90816

Kevyn Aucoin Natura is the only non-LE, but it is going to be noticeably browner and warmer. Chanel Cheeky is the more recently-released LE but is a cream product and doesn’t have the same shimmer as Bahama Brown.

i may have to grab haux next time i go to mac… it’s definitely one of those that you never eyeball, but it looks like i would use it all the time for blending!

Haux is a great crease color. I need to pick up a new one soon! Shale has been on my mental wishlist for a while, but I think I will pick it up in time for autumn, since I think I will use it more during the cooler months.
