MAC Uninterrupted Pro Longwear Eyeshadow ($14.00 for 0.10 oz.) is described as a “dark camel [with a Semi-Matte finish].” It’s a medium brown with warm, yellow undertones and a matte finish. Makeup Geek Preppy (P, $5.99) is browner, less yellow. Anastasia Bengal (LE) is similar. Anastasia Caramel (LE) is similar. Makeup Geek Desert Sands (LE, $5.99) is lighter. Make Up For Ever M660 Speculous (P, $21.00) is lighter. Make Up For Ever M650 Cookie (P, $21.00) is lighter. Disney by Sephora Bazaar (LE) is very similar. MAC Outre (LE, $15.00) is similar. So, long ago when the Pro Longwear Eyeshadows released, I somehow missed this shade. My guess is it was “coming soon” or else I just totally spaced! A reader asked me to compare it to something, and that’s how the pieces came together–and now, here is the long-missing shade. The Pro Longwear formula is supposed to have a “silky, creamy texture formulated for maximum colour impact” and last eight hours. Uninterrupted had rich color payoff that went on smoothly and evenly–even over bare skin, which is always impressive with a more matte finished eyeshadow! The consistency was soft, silky, and blendable without being powdery. On me, the color wore well for eight hours before fading. It is also available in regular compact for $21.

Wow! The results says it all! Top marks in every category. I have been waiting for you to review this colour for ages. This is on my list to purchase next. From the results I’ve seen on the eyes in photos and YT tutorials, it looks amazing! Have often read not pretty to look at in the pan but amazing on the eyes.

I’ve been looking for a colour like this for such a long time! (:
I know that there are many similar shades from different brands, but you can’t get hold of many of them here in Austria. 🙁 But I have a Mac counter near me, so I’ll have to check out Uninterrupted which will probably jump right into my basket. 🙂
Thanks for sharing it with us, now my search is over!

Thank you so much for posting the review of this eyeshadow! I bought it about two weeks ago at my nearest MAC counter and I’ve been wearing it ever since then. 🙂

I guess there’s a reason why I’ve decided to ignore the majority of MAC’s collections and to start paying attention to their permanent products instead. Their permanent products tend to be pretty good but apart from the cult classics, they don’t get nearly as much attention because they get buried under a million LE products nowadays.

Totally agree with you on this, Ryou! Lately, I’ve almost exclusively been buying permanent collection products from MAC (and really, other brands as well). There are so many items that don’t get any attention from anyone since everyone is too busy freaking out about limited edition colors that are honestly hit or miss when it comes to quality.

It’s still available on the website (U.S.)…make a friend in the states!! That’s so odd that they would do that ANYWHERE, seeing as it’s one of their bestsellers…I don’t get MAC sometimes.

I have been eyeing off this colour for a while and I think I might have to cave and just buy it!

I noticed you put the ABH shadows and LE but since they can now be bought in pan forms wouldn’t they now be classified as permanent? Also would love to see you review the new ABH pan shadows!

I JUST bought this shade a few weeks ago. Had been looking everywhere for a review on it as I didnt know what pro long wear means. I’m NC 50 and love using this shade to blend out colors on my lid and as a transition color. Your review was totally timely

I love this shadow! It’s such a staple brown for me as a crease color or when I’m on a rush as an all over lid color and then really blend it out. Looks great on my NC15-NC20 skin I think 🙂

Hehe, the quality of this shadow looks really impressive, and I’m absolutely certain it looks fabulous in non cool toned vampires. On me it would look like.. well, in NZ we describe this colour as ‘karitane yellow’, ^_^ It is nice to see great MAC products from the permanent collection though, especially after the ‘meh’ factor of a lot of the holiday LE stuff.

I’m obsessed with this shade! I saw so much hype around it from a lot of MAC girls that I follow on Instagram and I’ve used it almost every day since I’ve gotten it back in September. I love doing a super blown out smokey eye with it in the crease/transition area and buffed out on the lower lashline. Looks great with Sketch or Embark to deepen! 🙂
