MAC Turquatic (50ml) ($49.50 for 1.7 fl. oz.) is new to the line-up, as it was previously only available in a 1 fl. oz. size. I reviewed the scent here, but I knew that with the repackaging, you would want to see photos, so I purchased this for photography. I love the aesthetic of the bottle, even though the scent is not one I’m personally drawn to. It debuts on August 11th and will be part of the permanent range–it is also available in Rollerball (0.20 fl. oz.), $20.00) and 1 fl. oz. bottle ($27.50).

I saw this at the PRO store in San Francisco last weekend and fell in love with the packaging. The design goes so well with the scent.

I can’t decide whether or not I like the packaging. It works, I like the gradient, but at the same time it doesn’t. I think an organic shape would have been more appropriate. Personal preference. 🙂

I work with MAC, and during our Update Training, they said counters would not be receiving Turquatic; only MAC Pro and MAC stores ):
Did they tell you differently? They might have changed their plans; Update Training was in early July.
I’m going off of what the press release stated – it just says MAC locations, it doesn’t call out that it is or isn’t counters.

Turquatic sounds so bad to me… like something nasty.
Is the packing the same for the smaller bottle?

Hi I saw it at Macy’s. Got it as a gift for our anniversary. It’s a nice scent but no staying power!

I sow this at Macy’s yesterday. Love this perfume. It’s gorgeous. Great lasting power. It lasts all day and it smells very beachy/aquatic/fresh. Love it.
Do you get the fancy packaging with the other sizes?
The smaller size has different packaging – the bottle has a gradient.
The packaging alone is gorgeous!
I’m really not a fan of the scent…
I truly love this scent, but because it’s been reformulated I’m dissapointed because I thought the scent was perfect the way it was!!! I found it to be long wearing, after a night of out on the town I still smelled clean and fresh!!! It sounds like the staying power is no longer there?! 🙁 I’m def. going to the nearest counter on the 11th to see if it’s similar enough to the old one for a repurchase. I soooo hope so, this is my staple scent and get sooo many compliments and doesn’t cause a head ache like some!
The scent is the same – as far as I know, it was not reformulated, only repackaged. Most people had trouble in the past (as did I) with the original scent wearing well/long.
Is this permanent or limited edition?
Truquatic is permanent.
The packaging on this is SO PRETTY. I love their color choice. It’s wonderful, very vibrant without looking cheap.

My daughter and I both love MAC with the blue lid and cant find it anywhere. This perfume is the best one ever. Is it going to be relaunched? We live in Australia and my daughter would love to wear it on her wedding day.

It is permanent now, but you might check with Australian MAC locations to see when they will get it.
the colours of the bottle are so lovely, i am a complete magpie for blues and greens. im so tempted to get a smaller sized bottle

I absoulty loooooove this scent! When i was making a purchase I notice the bottle(which is pretty)sprayed it and feel in love with it so I added that to my purchase. To top it off my bf loves it as well the first day I wore it around him he couldnt keep his nose off me lol 🙂
