Love seeing the return of some of the Nicki shades.
For Ulta (points) fans: A few, not all, are on Ulta. Suspect it’s some of the new shades, rather than repromotes.
This is the most excited I’ve been for a MAC release in a while, which is funny considering it’s just nude lippies. But I just love MAC lipsticks so much. I get so much wear out of the bullets. Once it looks like I’ve used it all up I use a lip brush to scoop out and apply product from inside the tube. You really get a lot for the price.
I’m curious how long it would take for you to finish a lipstick. As a grad student on weekdays I’m only outside the apartment for a few hours at most and I hardly need to re-apply. I feel like I won’t finish any with this speed lol
I’m actually about to finish a lipstick that I’ve had about a year. It’s sheets and I apply it like a lip balm (repeatedly during a day). With sparing usage, I’d imagine it would take 2+ years.
Yes, I love the fact that they are permanent 🙂 I’m happy derrière is there and a lot of browns !!!
Absolutely LOVING that MAC did a very inclusive and well rounded nudeblip collection that I am hoping is adding these new shades to their permanent lineup. Just reminded me that I have yet to pick up Touch lipstick… although knowing full well that it is my most flattering shade of MAC nude lipstick. No, instead I have too often allowed myself to be swept up in the whole LE frenzy instead of buying shades that I know I will wear to death!
And Beaux is baaack!!! Getting! ?
I have eight of these lipsticks and two of the pencils. I can’t really justify buying anymore…though I’m intrigued by Love U Back. Curious to see the review and dupes for this shade.
A few of these existing shades have been on my “someday” list for years, like Del Rio, Brick-O-La, and Mocha. But I’ve been able to keep myself from buying them, so I’ll just keep it all on my “someday” list.
(Still disgusted by the fact that they called a brown lipstick Derriere. Ew.)
Looking forward to your grid of lip swatches! I know you’re not a fan, but I am interested in the new Lustre and Cremesheen colors. MAC’s recycling program is also really convenient for me.
I think that S’Sexy and Bad ‘N’ Bare are gorgeous nudes for light to med skin tones and love that they are satin and amplified formulas. It it great to see Touch and Mocha in the lineup as i have worn them both for years. Good job Mac.
Lots of great shades there and MAC does do lipsticks well.
Smoked Almond had my number from the moment I saw it on Instagram – the fact it’s an Amplified means it must be mine!! But otherwise what a beautiful collection anyway – going to go in store to see if one would be a good gift for my bff (who is way darker than me) who loves lipstick but doesn’t ever know what to buy.
I’m really excited for this collection! Nude lipsticks are so satisfying and I love getting new ones! Will definitely be getting bosom friend as I was too indecisive last time and missed out! Probably will find one or 2 more that I need…
I haven’t been excited about MAC since the Star Trek collection. I definitely love (deep) nude lips, and I am really glad that this has something for everybody. Is it not fantastic that all of us, no matter our complexion, can find at least one lipstick or gloss shade that we’ll enjoy? I love inclusivity!
Wow, what a lot of gorgeousness!
I have a few of these, Mocha is a favourite, Mehr is another. This remainded me that I have been wanting Bric-o-la for a long time.
There’s been and continue to be so many LE’s that the really good permanent stuff keeps getting pushed back. Now with the low-buy I think I’ll just buy proven permanent makeup, unless there’s something truely unique in an LE.
It’s going to be very interesting to see the new shades swatched. Quite a lot of them looks very promising.
I hope they’ll send you all of the new ones, Christine.
I haven’t cared about a MAC anything in a long time. I love nudes. I’ll have to wait for a 25% sale to grab them all.
Now, that’s a great collection of nude lipsticks!
I was hoping Nude du Jour from the Snow Ball collection would have been repromoted 🙁
I’m really excited for a lot of these! This version of Smoked Almond looks gorgeous, as does Good Form.
For everyone debating Brick-o-la, do it! It’s one of my favorite lipsticks (and I have a HUGE collection.) Just a gorgeous brightening rosy color!
I’m normally “meh, whatever” about nude lipstick lines because “nudes” rarely look that way on me — generally too peach or pink in a way that stands out as very non-nude; but looking at these, gotta admit, I’m super intrigued by all the colors with gold undertones — these might well be true nude/neutrals on me. The only way for me to achieve a “nude” look is to go with lipsticks that have the a similar undertone to my skin (which is strongly gold), or to match my actual lip color (a pale greyed mauve) — both of these color ranges are tough to find in lipstick.
I’m excited about this collection. Definitely going to swatch a bunch of the new shades in store. But I have to say, I don’t get the inclusion of reddish or berry shades…those don’t really quality as nudes on any skin tone do they?
MAC has come to.the point whereby I expect repromotes in every collection. To me, its insulting. I have been a loyal supporter since MAC came to the US, but they are slowly losing me.
The whole point of this collection was extending their range of “nudes” in the permanent line, so that is why they also included suitable shades from the current range as well.
