MAC Mickey Contractor: Siahi Fluidline

MAC Siahi Fluidline ($15.00 for 0.10 oz.) is new and limited edition from MAC Mickey Contractor, and MAC describes it as a “deep turquoise blue” with a frost finish. Siahi is rich, jewel-toned teal-tinged dark blue with a slight shine. I found this shade more pigmented than Ivy, and I didn’t experience the same sheerness with this shade, but the wear was still fantastic.  It reminded me of Stila Peacock, though it is a pencil eyeliner, but possibly a shade or two lighter.

MAC Mickey Contractor will be available on January 6th at select North American stores and January 2011 for select international stores. It will be available online on approximately January 4th but may not be available until the 6th.

  • Packaging: 4/5

FINAL THOUGHTS: If you’re a fluidline fan, I think it’s worth at least a look-see, but I expect the fluidlines to sell out quickly.  With nice pigmentation, smooth, long-wearing color, it will be a great shade to pair with golds, greens, bronzes, blues, and teals.

I’m kinda glad Fluid Line hurts my eyes cuz that means it won’t hurt my wallet! But then I’m a little sad cuz I really love the color of the Fluid Lines in this collection =(

Wow! I love the intensity of this shade — it looks very different swatched than it does in the pan (in a good way; I was expecting it to be a bit of a bore. Nope, definitely not a bore!)

It really brings out the pink in your skin, perhaps because of the unexpected teal tinge? Either way, it’s gorge!

I really would love to pick this up, especially since I had such an adverse reaction to Stila Peacock. I’ve never had a reaction to the MAC fluidlines. The color is amazing 🙂

Wow, this is beautiful! The swatch looks so much better than the product does in the jar – usually it’s the other way around with so many cosmetics

WOW how gorgeous! I was wondering if these new fluidlines were going to look anything like Bobbi Brown Ivy or Saphire longwear gel liners but they are so vivid in comparison. Now I know I must get these ones, I have been converted to gel liners and now kinda dislike liquid which used to be my favourite!

Absolutly gorgeous. This color goes so well with Indian clothing. I feel like I have like 3-4 different blue liners though- and need to check my stash against this.

Excuse me, girls, but I’d never used a fluidline before. Is it usable just as an eyeliner, or can it be used also as a “base colour”, like something I can put on the entire eyelid (a sort of e/s base)?
I love this colour, but I don’t use eyeliner!
