I like the consistency of shadows but lot of them look a like. Dreammaker is Like Flip (LE; Glamour Chek like Antique or 100 strokes;
Gran entrance is like Jest

I bought fashion groupie and glamour check. I haven’t used them yet, but I am just in love with gc. I bought fg to compliment my makeup forever #92 shadow. I might go back for strike a pose and I really want smoke and diamonds now. Rated r is nice, but I have rated r by nars. I usually like frost, but I will see what the big deal is when I use these.

Oh and I hate the eyeliners. Very pretty, but very sparkly. It leaves glitter all over my face and will not come off no matter what I use. I will stick to mufe aqua eyes.

They didn’t use their own cosmetics for this promotion either sadly. You think that they would want to promote the colors with the look. Just a thought. I really like to see the way their artists use the colors and I don’t feel it here.

I have Rave and Molasses from the previous time they launched, and I wasn’t so thrilled with the consistency of the liners and on me, the purple/blue in Rave didn’t really show up (and I am really pale).

I ordered Fashion Groupie and Rated R. I still have my Smoke and Diamonds from last time, but I might be the only person that doesn’t look amazing in it. I use it over my benefit Skinny Jeans cream shadow anyway. ha.

Glamour Check = Amber Lights/Bronze; Fashion = Tilt (but I don’t find them that similar, personally); Rated R = Bitter (though Rated R has more pay off, more yellow to it, different finish); Grand Entrance = Gleam/Jest; Fashion Groupie = Satellite Dreams; Dreammaker = Nylon. These are the ones that stick out at me with dupes.

Thanks so much christine,! i had a look at the dupes but also relised that the urban decay shadows had similar colours so i only got the below shades :

Smoke and diamonds/fashion/strike a pose i also got the blue and balck liner. The brown one is similar to the urban decay Bourbon: brown w/ teeny gold glitter or the collection 2000 brown liner but thats got no sparkle to it ….and there is a similar dupe for the purple eye liner called Ransom: bright iridescent purple or you can use Lust: deep purple w/ subtle silver sparkle(this is a tad lighter but hardly noticable i think :).

i also ordered the graphic gardens define makeup brushes set which has the 190SE/129SE/252SE/219SE & 209SE and for £39.50 and the quality of the brushes are good unlike the reviews ive read so im happy 🙂

URBAN DEACY E/S dupes for below e/s:
Unbasic -Polyester Bride: white w/ silver glitter
Ego -Sin: champagne
Glamour Check = Roach: deep brown w/ reddish sheen;
Fashion = Mary Jane: silvery blue w/ dark undertone;
Rated R = Acid Rain: green w/ yellow gold shift (though Rated R has more yellow to it);
Fashion Groupie = Urban deacay deluxe e/s in Fishnet:iridescent purple;
One-Off -urban decay deluxe e/s in Graffiti : bright green or Vert: vibrant jade (this is a tad lighter) or Green Goddess: medium green
Grand Entrance- Blaze: golden peach
Dreammaker -Jones: golden peachy-orange(this is darker)
Smoke & Diamonds -no direct match but YDK: bronzed mocha w/ golden microglitter (this is a bit darker)or the new deluxe e/s Ruthless: pale sandy taupe shimmer(again a tad lighter i think)
Strike a Pose -no direct match but Goddess:midnight blue w/ lots of electric blue microglitter (this is darker thought)
Style Snob -Scratch: light pink champagne

I have Rated R, Fashion Groupie and Glamour Check e/s. I also bought Molasses and Rave. Love them all! Especially Molasses. I was looking for a great deep brown eyeliner and I found it. YAY!!!!!!!

i love all these colors i was totally stunned when my MAC m.a. called me to tell me they were released early, i rushed over & got them all, and i love them to pieces!

I bought Ego and Fashion. I already have Smoke & Diamonds and all 3 are amazing! Ego looks great on your inner lid paired with a dark purple on your outer lids, with a lil Stars N Rockets in between. Fashion is a really pretty color, cant wait to try it. And Smoke looks awesome for a smokey eye. It makes my brown eyes seem lighter.

I love the eyeliners! I picked up fly-by-blu and rave eye liners, and strike-a-pose shadow (there was no blue in my collection quite like this). I tried on Fly-by-blu with strike a pose in the crease at the MAC counter (gorgeous). The liner is rich and deep, no problem with glitter falling down for me, maybe try a pot paint underneath if you have that problem. I have not worn Rave but I know it’ll give a good effect with a smokey purple look I use. May go back for Molasses but passed on it since I haven’t used all my teddy, I already have black russian which is a must-have for black eye liners.

I was so thrilled when I read that starflash e/s were coming back. I picked up Talent Pool last round and have wanted more colours with this brilliant formula ever since. I was only planning on getting 2 or 3 e/s and didn’t even think about the liners… until I saw them in person. I left with Smoke & Diamonds (beautiful colour, believe the hype!), Strike a Pose, Ego, One Off and Fly-By-Blu. All are amazing. Esp if you pat Strike a Pose over Fly-by-blu; this combo looks fab! I am kicking myself that I didn’t get Fashion groupie (even though Satellite Dreams seems to be similar, the formula of FG can’t compare IMO). Might have to go back soon and hope it doesn’t sell out. 🙂

I got so much! I got Smoke & Diamonds, Ego, One Off, Strike a Pose, Fashion, Dreammaker, Rated R, Style Snob, and Style Snob. I think I’ll go back for Grand Entrance, Black Russian, Fashion Groupie and a back up of Smoke & Diamonds.

I wanted so much Rated R but yesterday when I went to buy it, it was sold out 🙁 I get instead smoke and diamonds but but rated r was so pretty!

I got Smoke and Diamonds, Style Snob and Grand Entrance. Seriously, I LOVE LOVE Grand Entrance, and I’m thinking I might have to snatch some more before they’re all gone.

I went out on the day these came out in the UK and bought 7 e/s and 2 pearl glides..then went back two days later and bought another pearl glide e/l and 2 more eyeshadows.. I’m addicted to the Starflash formula!
The ones I didn’t get were Style Snob (I prefer pink OR brown to a combination of both), Fashion Groupie (I thought this would be top of my list but I found the purple to be too red for my liking- I prefer my purple to be like Parfait Amour) and Glamour Check (really not my colour), and I also skipped the brown pearl glide- again, not really my thing.

However! I went and bought the new Sleek Limited Edition August palette- called Curious- it has PERFECT (I mean- exact- even the formula and payoff!!!) dupes for Glamour Check, Fashion Groupie, Style Snob and Fashion! So I’ve kinda got them all afterall! The palette cost £4.88- BARGAIN!
