going to be bold and assume that the 221 will be just a bit smaller/less fluffy than the discontinued 222 which am so annoyed i don’t have! 🙂 please be the case MAC!!

Can I ask your opinion on the 267? What about the curved angle? I’ve never seen anything like it… is this cut/feature designed to facilitate the application of liner? I’m not sure if anyone has ever tried anything like thus, or if Christine will get to sample it, but I would love to hear everyone’s thoughts. I am just getting into gel/liquid liner, & have only used traditional angled brushes to blend out pencil or with powdered shadows (& Prime/Fix). Thank you!

Love the 221 brush! Looks perfect for a defined crease. Not sure about the 137 though.. maybe it can be used for contour/highlighting

Pearl Blossom is from the Barbie collection and a great product! so cool that they repromoting it. as far as I know this is the first time, right?

PaperDoll Avatar

The re-promote of the Pearl Blossom Beauty Powder has me feeling gleeful… not only because I missed out on the MAC Loves Barbie collection back in 2007 (minus a few tries, I’m just starting out with the brand, really), but also because now I know that there still may be a chance for me to snag those Cinderella Beauty Powders! I might have to wait the better part of a decade, but I will keep hope alive, LOL! 😉

Carrie Avatar

Curious about wow factor – I’m a sucker for lavender eye shadows – but I’ll wait for your review. Not unique enough to pay $19 untested.

Jasmin Avatar

So this Alpha Girl seems different with gold shimmer… I’m looking foward for these fluidlines, I hope they’re awesome. Also in to this peach eyeshadow, I missed the ones so far and “free to be” wasn’t good at all

Dana Avatar

i’m on the fence about this collection. I love the thought behind the collection but i wish they went a different direction as for the lipsticks. There’s too many Lustre’s! Lately It seems like almost every collection has at least one lustre. Even for Bao Bao it felt like romantic breakdown was out of place with those beautiful, bright, matte colors. I hope they lay off that finish for a while after this = /

Ashley Avatar

The lipsticks all look super exciting! I love lustres, and the Barbie repromotes will be fun since I missed that collection! I have Alpha Girl and use it on a regular basis, but mine doesn’t really have a shimmer like it describes though!

Katherine T. Avatar

Wow, very interesting collection, definitely a mod 60s theme. Hope the pastels perform well…I noticed Yogurt shadow is described as a “chalky pale pink” (yikes) Always wanted to try the Fluidlines, want to pick up a color, so many to choose from!

Amy Avatar

Wow, this collection is HUGE! Can hardly wait to see it in person. The Make Me Gorgeous lipstick and Star Quality Creamsheen Glass are calling my name…

Karla Avatar

I just double checked to make sure I’m not crazy, but my old version of Alpha Girl is matte. I’m guessing they are re promoting the product with a different texture? I forget what collection mine is from but it had a flower impression. Hopefully this version is better. This is the first collection I’m actually excited about in a long time. The last time I purchased anything limited from Mac was the heavenly creatures collection…

Nicole Avatar

I actually like the looks of this. I like the LOOKS of all the collections from Mac. But they are churning them out so fast. i can’t help but doubt the quality. Plus, I really am not a fan of LE collections especially when they come out really quickly and at short notice like this. I feel like it may be intentional almost. It’s pretty close to impossible for any blogger, even Super Christine to review all these products by the release date. So, that makes me weary on the performance.

julia Avatar

Those pastel eyeshadows are making me very nervous. With the quality MAC has been churning out the last couple years I’m expecting them sheer, hard and chalky.

Rachel R. Avatar

Wow, lots of stuff. It all looks very pretty, but I think the eyeshadows, Cremesheen Glasses, and pastel lipsticks might be too white-based for my tastes. Swatches should be interesting.

The fluidline colors looks stunning, as do the brighter lipsticks.

zully Avatar

Excited for the lipsticks which are usually a safe bet for MAC. However, I’ve been dissapointed by their most recent collections. It is unusual for me to pass on so many collections as I’ve done in the pass few months. Im interested in the mint green and lavender eye shadows but i will wait for the review before making a purchase. The lipsticks, on the other hand, I will run to get them at the counter or online.

Dustin Avatar

Let’s see…

Lustre, lustre, lustre, lustre, lustre, lustre, lustre and… lustre.

Nope. I’m good. Thanks for asking tho! LOL! Here’s hoping that mint eyeshadow will be AmAzInG! I am constantly on the hunt for mint and seafoam green eyeshadows. WHO MAKES A SEAFOAM GREEN EYESHADOW?! ARGH!

mel Avatar

If you really like mint and seafoam (i do!!) Benefit made a really gorgeous eyeshadow a while ago, and stilla has a mint green liner that can double as a cream shadow in a pinch 🙂

Cindy Avatar

For such a large collection it’s a disappointment that so many of the lipsticks are Lustre. The last Lustre I tried was 5-Alarm from Red Red Red (it should have been called NO Alarm, haha!). Not only was the color red REALLY weak (I expect a BLAZING red out of a color called 5-Alarm), but it wore off VERY fast – and I wear all lipstick with MAC prep+prime underneath. I need my lipstick to last for hours and hours until *I* take it off, so it didn’t work for me. The only ones I would consider buying are Diva-ish and Make Me Gorgeous. I already have Silly & Reel Sexy (which isn’t really a bright coral as they describe it, it’s watered-down coral, lol). I’m also partial to highly-pigmented brights and reds, so I guess the whole pale/pastel look of the collection just doesn’t do it for me. Yay! Saving $$!

slick Avatar

I will be sad if Dipdown Fluidline is discontinued! Unless it’s new same is Lowlights 🙁

221 will be mine. Looks like a more slender 226 – perfect!

Alexis Avatar

I am SO freaking excited for Reel Sexy! I passed on it the first time around because I was too shy for such a vivid coral, but since then I’ve bought a million and my hunger is still not satisfied lol. I must have it!

miekogirlie99 Avatar

i’m excited about the lipsticks in this collection because they look so wearable. i’m wondering if that lavender shade is close to Prabal light English red? thats my fave color at the moment & since its limited i need a dupe!

queenxpeaches Avatar

I’m with you. Was on for about an hour before i seen an instagram post saying its been delayed & will be sold online at Nordstrom on the 30th. So i will be checking both websites at midnight.. This is mainly why i hate limited edition. Selling out so fast & there’s never a way to know the dates of stuff.

Georgina Avatar

Hey, I’m just wondering, will this be available in the UK. I’m confused lol! Do you know when it will be released if it is available here?
