the 130 brush is available on the uk website with the mineralized foundation collection but i havent seen it in the shops m wondering if its an online thing online hmmm..

its nice too see things like new lipgelles, rather than the typical tinted lipglass’, eyeshadows and lipstick! can’t wait for this collection! 🙂

yes definetly, i was thinking that same thing. i actually like lipgelees better then lipglass. their not so sticky. i have 1 in the color valentines.

grrrrrrrrrreat i have to see the cremeblend blushes but i think that imma get at least 1 or two. i am currently using one under fun and games to make it show up on me since im an nc40. the matte shadow and powder sound cool since their matte.

Girl I live in London right now and if the Spring Color collection/four color one, the Riveting one, the Liberty one, and the Art Supplies one, and the All Races one do NOT come out in the UK, I will be very very upset!!!

well……honestly, personaly i fell let down by the choice of packaging.

it is ok but not really a big ‘begining of the year’ collection for MAC. they could’ve so much more with this designer, her stuff is great!! mac, you should know were suckers for elaborate (sp? eek!)packaging…’sigh’…. fingers crossed the brushes are cute.

im more excited for the boudoir collection, probly outta my price range but its so cute n chic, they shouldve made it a bigger collection ( this would’ve been a HUGE hit if it came out while the victorian style was majorly in fashion last year.

I totally agree with you about the packaging, they could have done so much more to make this look like a limited edition collection, like they did with Dame Edna etc. It doesn’t say Lilly Pulitzer or Lillyland on anything at all.

Geez..finally a semi-original trend coming out from MAC! Ha. It’s been a while since they’ve done anything different. I’m kind of looking forward to the lip gelees..and the face powders should be interesting.

this is a collection i’d have to see in person.. i love the designs on the e/s and face powder but *sigh* this one just doesnt thrill me as much as i’d expected.

the cream blushes have potential but im not that into the lip gelees. the flower pattern is cute but not enough to make me feel compelled to buy.

Wow I’m not blown away at all, maybe some of the cream blush and nail lacquers, but definitely not the floral pattern stuff… fortunately I think there’s another collection that day, so I’ll save up for that one 😀

I’m disappointed about the packaging I mean Lilly Pulitzer is known for her designs …..they should have done so much more with this … that being said I’ll probably buy it all HAHA

Possibly the eyeshadow and definitely at least one of the blushes but that will probably be it. Disappointed with the look of the Pearlmatte face powder… Too many colours, wish they would have stuck with all pinks or all bronzes…

if they only came out with more than just one e/s i would be very interested. i’ve stayed away from mac cream blushes because of my oily skin type, i hope these are cream to powder, that would be great. those flower patterns sure look pretty but then again the rose romance had pretty patterns too so i guess we’ll have to wait for your verdict christine. thanks for the info.

The only thing I can say about this collection is -meh- … Nothing just appeals to me 🙁 BUT that means more money for other stuff! So YAY! 😉

Hmmm this is okay, but I think that they could’ve done much more with it.

The packaging is pretty boring!

I think that I’ll pick up the eyeshadow and nailpolishes for sure. I’ll wait and see how pigmented the lipgelees are. Seriously, the paint pots are SO boring. I want some bright lippies and fun paint pots! I hate creme blushes, so unless there’s anything extraordinary about this formula, I’ll be passing.

Oh I like the look of those Cremeblend Blushes and Lipgelees and they’ll come out a couple of months before Spring so that’s not too bad, I’d probably wear these more in Sunnier months that Jan/Feb 🙂

I like the eyeshadow and nail polishes. The e/s reminds me of an Anna Sui trio, which was sheer and wearable. The polishes look fresh. Will have to see about the face powder.

As others have said, packaging could have been better and too many of these items are permanent or repromote. The only thing that I’m excited about are the cream blushes!! I might cave in for the 2 embossed e/s and face powder compacts… Will have to see in person and swatch.

Wow, the pearlmatte shadow and face powder compacts look gorgeous… Can’t wait to see how they swatch and what the finish on these look like… I would hate to find out that they aren’t pigmented or worth getting as they just look so pretty!

I liked last winter’s collection better. This one I’m not too excited about because it reminds me so much of the sweets collection, which I already have. I have enough pink and green to last me into the next decade. However, I would have figured that after the success of black collection they would have stuck with the theme a bit longer. What of the emo colors? Like the deep reds and metals?

I hate Lily Pulitzer, but I have to say that the style of the eyeshadows is really adorable. The only negative thing I have to say about this is tat since it is Lily Pulitzer MAC could’ve brought out some really bright and different colors. Chances could’ve been taken with this collection, but for people with more neutral tastes this collection will suite them well.

I’m will be getting the pearlmatter eyeshadow (pretty sure), the face powder (for sure), the lipgelee in Resort Life, and one of the two nail polishes… or both. I think I’ll start saving now… After the Mischief Makers collection :p

I am a huge Lilly Pulitzer fan and I must say that I am disappointed that the products don’t have any special packaging. Lilly is all about print! Strange they didn’t make at least a compact with a cute design.

I’m a long time lurker on your site but I have to say as a medium golden (fair nc30 or tanned nc35) natural auburn head that loves true spring pinks I am totally lemming this collection. (Orange pinks just make me look orange like an oompa loompa.) Not to mention I love a lot of Lilly stuff. The whole lot appeals to the girlie girl in me in a serious way. Thanks for the post! I might actually forfeit the Holiday Chanel and wait for this set. OMG!!! I want every item except some of the permanent ones I already have. I haven’t wanted any early year collections since Barbie, and I did get the majority of that collection!

Q? Will this be in the department stores or just the freestanding?

I think lilly pulitzer clothing is kinda goofy lookin. BUT i really love the collection they have with MAC. Def getting all the blushes, coconut ice, resort life lip gelee eye shadow, and face powder

Ill defineatly pick up the Florida cream blush but other then that nothing really interests me, I think they could have done alot better on the packaging.

Very disappointing! Lilly is known for their beautiful prints and these products and the packaging are lacking Lilly signature prints. I will not waste my money on this collection 🙁

Just a tip…the pearlmatte eyeshadow (pink, green, white) can be blended together to make a color similiar to vex. It’s beautiful – vex is one of my fave highlights! 😉

cocanut ice nail laqueur is to die for cnt wait to see it in person, the lushes perhaps are a little bright , nd could be quite easy to over due on so for that reson ill stick with the nail polish

What a pretty collection! You’ve been busy today Christine! The Joie de Vivre Cremeblend Blush looks beautiful even though I don’t wear cream blushes. I wonder what’s the difference in formula from the Blushcremes and these new Cremeblend blushes. I heard they were getting rid of the Lipgelees so it’s nice to see that they’ll still be around a while!

Optimistic Orange Cremeblend blush looks and sounds pretty. I’m not really a blush person but I’ll consider blushes in orange, rust or bronze colors. The Lush & Bright and Shift to Pink lip gelees look interesting; the lip gelees I’ve found to be quite moisturizing in the past actually.

I don’t know. MAC has been disappointing me with these collections. Nothing seems overly exciting except for the eyeshadow.. which I have a nice pink, green, and cream shade from MAC already. Gr.

the colors look real good and its so “spring-y”
but has anyone actually swatched the lip gelees?
i put all the stuff i want on hold @ my mac store, but i think the gelees are going to be real sheer.
thoughts?

Lip Gelees GOOD! I actually didn’t want them UNTIL I swatched them today at the store (they always have the LE collections set aside at my MAC store for freaks like me to play with the week that they come out – You just can’t buy them – AND you have to ask to see them).

The Lip Gelees are VERY pigmented and VERY pretty! They also sheer down to a really nice glittery sheen – I am actually excited to use them as highlighters – Not sticky AT ALL!!!

My personal recomendations are Resort Life (the pale white-ish one) and Preppy – Which is like NEON hot pink – It looks like candy and I want to eat it. The other two are so-so for me. I don’t care for orange lip glosses personally, and the other pink had too much of a lilac tone to it… Just a little too muddy for my taste (but only if you compare it to Pretty, which is much brighter).

I would recomend these!

And as a side note – The white pigment that comes out with All Sexes… Yes. It’s a must have IF you like glittery shades. It looks like you’ve got sparkly glitter on your skin but it’s not at all chunky – VERY smooth! Same thing with these Lip Gelees… They look SO glittery but they are completely smooth – For those of you who don’t like the texture of the MAC Dazzleglasses.

Looks like this stuff is available to buy on line now 🙂 Wee!!! Oddly, the All Ages, etc. collection is also posted on the pro site but all the products say: “Coming Soon” I called and asked about it and the person I spoke with said that MAC didn’t actually have the products yet and that it wouldn’t be released until next week.

[whispering] I think she doesn’t know what she’s talking about personally. I’m not worried. The operators at MAC pro are quite friendly, but they don’t know ANYTHING about the products – If you say anything other than, “I’d like to place an order” they forward you over to the corporate office.

The Pro site is really unpredictable – I think because their focus isn’t on the LE launches, but on their Pro Products. Sometimes stuff will show up later than the stores, sometimes not. I got the Style Black collection on my doorstep 2 days before it came out in stores because they put it on the site early. They are goofy there. But it’s okay… Can’t complain 🙂 Their customer service rocks! They’ve only messed up an order of mine once, and when I complained (expecting to MAYBE get a free shipping credit or something), they gave me a $50 credit on my account to get whatever I wanted. Pretty snazzy if you ask me 🙂
