MAC Ice Parade Silver Iced Delights Eye Bag
MAC Silver Iced Delights Eye Bag ($45.00) includes Silverwear (metallic lilac), Blue Spruce (celadon with violet sparkles), Graphblack (black), along with a full-sized Zoom Fast Black Lash Mascara and 275SE brush. There are three different Eye Bags and all three contain both the mascara and special edition brush, but the eyeshadow duo and eyeliner vary. MAC Ice Parade launches on October 27th, 2011 in-stores.
- Silverwear is an icy lilac with a frost finish. The color payoff is so-so, as it’s sheer but not invisible. Make Up For Ever #151 is similar, though a touch pinker. This is a repromote.
- Blue Spruce is a dark navy blue with a tealish-green edge and copper sparkle. It has a velvet finish. I thought this looked very unique from the moment I swatched it, and thankfully, it also had good pigmentation. I couldn’t think of a dupe.
- Graphblack is a medium-dark black. It is part of the permanent range.
I’m not keen on the color payoff of Silverwear, especially as a frost finish, it shouldn’t be as sheer as it is. I do, however, appreciate and like the originality of Blue Spruce. Trade-offs! Graphblack is a long-time favorite, and I used to use it as my go-to black eyeliner for a couple of years.

Blue Spruce is indeed gorgeous! I can’t justify paying $45 dollars though, because that would be the only thing that I would want from the bag.. i hope that it gets re-promoted in the future though!
Yaby has a pearl paint similar to Blue Spruce this but the base is not as dark.

Blue Spruce looks gorgeous! Sadly, it doesn’t make any sense to purchase the whole set just for that one color.
Is graphblack a chromagraphic pencil? If so can you pick it up individually with this launch? You always rave about the chromagraphic pencils for the waterline and I’ve been dying to get my hands on one, but Fall Color only had colors I didn’t care for. And I also don’t think I need any of these duos. But I would love to have the pencil and maybe a backup!

I know you don’t usually bother with the brush sets but have you had a chance to see them this year? Or has anyone? and are they the same poor quality? I really want the mineralize one to be good!!!
No, but if you watch Dusty’s review, they’re crap. I already wasted $1500+ on this collection, and the idea of spending yet another $50 on brushes that I know never come up to scratch is appalling.
Yeah just saw it, I figured as much. Such a shame that so much of this collection is poor quality and that you had to waste money on it! It’s appreciated though if that helps at all 😀
Celadon refers to a pale bluish green (named after the ceramic glaze), akin to a toned-down mint green. I’m seeing a navy blue color?
;___; Blue Spruce is so fab. And I don’t have a black eyeliner right now that doesn’t contain glitter (so sad, I know!)… but I think I’m still going to pass on this one.

Blue Spruce is ridiculously beautiful… I don’t see myself using anything else and there is no way am I paying £36 for one eyeshadow. I really hope this gets repromoted as a single at some point 🙁
