Cheekbones and collarbones. 😀 I have a collarbone fetish.

We all know it’s not just the Contour Palette (and I’m personally a fan of MAC shaping and sculpting powders), for some it needs to start with not eating from now until the launch date. 😆
Joke aside (I don’t encourage by any means eating disorders), I would like MAC to pair the collection with cheeckbone sculpting tutorials online (maybe even in-store events liek they did with the launch of new foundation shades). Just to keep in fun and educational.

Oh yeah, now that you mention it, those are some divine collarbones too!

I really think there’s got to be some prosthesis in play for those cheekbones… or it’s a combination of the makeup and the shape of the headdress. They really do make her look inhuman, in the best way.

Although I’m under the impression that this collection is a deja-vu, I’m actually intending to get some items from the collection (rarely happens with MAC, my last collection purchase was the Patrick Star red lipstick and I was a little disappointing because I felt the formula was not as good as regular items).

But I know `Russian Red` is a great lipstick, I know I’ll finish my current red lipstick soon, and having it in Maleficient themed packaging seems great to me! I’m not a lip liner girl myself, but Vino and Cherry would be colors I would get if I were to purchase ever a lip liner (dark lipstick colors sometimes just need liner to get a nice definition).

Print and Scene are both amazing eye shadows, owned them as singles in my custom made palette (I love myself a low-key grungy one-shadow grey look).

But let’s see the packaging first…

Knew it… knew it… it wasn’t a deja-vu. They had acollection when the movie launched (although I can’t believe it’s 5 years).

So maybe this would be just a `bundle` for a Halloween make-up look (???)

It’s odd because in terms of shades/products, there are no common things between the original collection and this one. Well… I assume they will put `Sculpt` in the sculpting palette.

Instead of using Russian Red, they should have rereleased True Love’s Kiss from the first collection. That was a fantastic red. I still have it, but of course it’s expired and old af, but I rocked that lipstick (and the lip gloss) constantly back then.

No problem. I just looked at it randomly yesterday and swatched it. I’m trying to figure out my stage makeup for this weekend, so I randomly came across it. It still smells fine, so I’m sure it’s fine, but I wouldn’t mind having a new one and throwing that one out.

Meh…. I loved the first collection… but I feel like if they wanted to do this follow up it needed to be either very grand or just one product. This looks like they haphazardly threw together some products Maleficent might use and branded it. =\
