MAC Craving Lipstick

MAC Craving Lipstick ($14.50 for 0.10 oz.) is described as a “burst of plum” and has an amplified creme finish. It’s a plummy pink with a subtle shine that applies opaque with very little product needed.

The amplified creme finish is designed to deliver opaque color coverage with a creamy texture and shiny finish. MAC Lipsticks are vanilla-scented but taste-free. Amplified cremes typically last four hours when I wear them, as they are more opaque and have a tendency to cling to lips (but are not drying).

Maybelline Bit of Berry is similar–less plum. Hourglass Nocturnal is redder. Guerlain Bee is darker but still similar in overall color.

Craving is probably my all time favourite lipsticks. I usually have 3 of them on the go – one in my purse, one in my bathroom and one in my kitchen drawer (I use the microwave as a “mirror” for quick application). I love it!

Do you think this would be a good color for fair and cool-toned skintypes? Or would it be too harsh? I’m looking for a plummy lipcolor for fall that’s not too dark 🙂

I’ve got this last year and is for sure one of my favorites! I like that its not too red and still gives you a nice lip color, very elegant in my opinion.

whoa, LOOOOVE! reminds me of a deeper Plumful, which is one of my fave MAC lipsticks. and i looove the aplified formula, very creamy and super pigmented.

I have Craving and I love it! But I must say that this color in me looks much more darker than in your photo. My lips get exactly the color that appears in the lipstick’s photo.

My first ever MAC lipstick and still one of my favs! It’s so flattering and smile-brightening. This is – at least in my opinion – one of the most gorgeous shades in the MAC range.

I love this shade! I was deciding between Craving and Plumful at the Nordstrom MAC counter today and decided on Craving 🙂 it’s so gorgeous 🙂
