It’s a new, limited edition blush in the MAC MACnificent collection, which launches at counters and stores on October 1st. It had good color payoff, and it is very pigmented–it is more pigmented in practice than it appears swatched, even. I felt like a little went a long way, and I had to be careful not to get too much on the brush to avoid over-applying! I would recommend a feathery brush and/or a fan brush if you prefer subtler coverage. The texture was a little dry, almost powdery but not the so-silky-it’s-powdery texture, but I was surprised that it blended quite nicely on the skin with just a brush (but no tricks!). The finish has a slight sheen to it, which gives it a natural look on the skin but isn’t overtly shimmery. On me, the blush lasted for eight and a half hours.

This looks perfect for fall.
Agreed!
Hi christine!! Love your overall look especially the eyes!! Looks like this collection is promising! And I might get a thing or two!
Thanks a lot, Sheena!
I like this color. I think that it’s a little more unique than MAC’s recent releases. I plan on picking it up!
It’s always nice to see a bolder blush, too!
This looks like it would be great as a festive holiday blush. Really pretty!
It is!
wooww that looks soo good on you 🙂
Thank you, Ece!
It’s a very strong look, too strong for me to carry off with my fair skin. But it works very well on you, Christine, it’s a lovely look.
Just needs a light hand 😀
I’m extremely pale and Cola Pop is my favorite color. I have to apply it with a brush that doesn’t pick up a lot of color though.
I’m also very fair and use Cola Pop. I use the Real Techniques Blush Brush they sell at Target, with the pink handle.
SO pretty! This looks like one I will have to get!
Yayyy!!
This is going to look like clown cheeks on me, but will be beautiful on darker skin tones
I swear it can work on all skin tones 😀
Trust Christine on this. I used to be afraid of bright blushes, but Christine’s recommendations gave me courage. And she was absolutely right! A light hand and a fluffy brush work wonders.
That’s beautiful. I love the looks of this collection. I think it’s going to make my wallet very angry.
Your poor wallet, Nicole!
This looks lovely on you Christine!
Thanks, Aditi!
It’s nice to see a MAC blush that isn’t a dud given the recent offerings, but I’m finding it looking so different on your full face look than on swatching. I’m seeing it more pink and cooler in action. I like it, nice blush for fall, but I would be all over it if it pulled a little more plum red. Shades like this can sometimes easily pull pink on me which isn’t what I’m looking for.
It does turn pinker on me than I expected it to, given that it is warmer!
Gorgeous! What a great Autumn shade. I’m set with Cola Pop, though.
Cola Pop wins between the two for me, too!
Sooo beautiful!!! Especially for autumn/ winter! I think that I am decently situated for the upcoming with MAC Burnt Pepper and Clinique Cola Pop as my go-to cheery cheek shades though. But if I didn’t have those two, I’d get this.
Sounds like you are covered 😀
I like this colour! Not sure if it would look good on my fair skin, but I’d even try it as an eyeshadow too!
Yay!
This is so pretty!
It is!
I really want this. Just purchased both Burnt Pepper & Frankly Scarlet which are both beautiful “scary in the pan but not on the face with the appropriate touch blushes” and this one appears to me the same. This one is definitely a different shade, but similar “essence” to those. Doesn’t mean I can’t own all three, right? Lol.
Right 😉
WOC everywhere are rejoicing, lol. Suuuuuper pretty. A lot of the recent blush colors I’ve seen you post are really nice, and they’re even wearable for deeper skin tones. (Sometimes that’s a make or break point for me with brands). I thought my sephora marsala blush would stay #1 but Mac might be taking over lol
lol! Finally something for darker skin tones!
Lovely colour. I want it as an eyeshadow 🙂
Ahh, if only!
Hi Christine! Just wondering, how similar is this blush to nars dolce vita? Cheers!
Dolce Vita is a bit cooler-toned but similar!
