L’Oreal Infallible 24HR Bronzer recently debuted a range of powder bronzers with eight shades (which seemed quite impressive, though I think it could have been more evenly distributed after swatching in person). Here are swatches of all eight shades!

I like that they launched with more than 1-2 shades but the lightest one looks like it would be too warm/orange for my very fair, cool toned skin, which is the case with the majority of bronzers. I’ll wait until you review them because if the formula is similar to the Infallible powder foundation, I’ll skip it regardless of whether it looks OK in person.

Cara, I am of porcelain complexion as well and absolutely no bronzer on this earth would suit me – they nearly all have yellow/orange undertones and I would end up looking like an oommpa loompa….this is one beauty product that I cannot use…

Have you tried Maybelline City bronzer in shade 100 ? I have heard very fair people say it’s less orange and overly warm. I was planning on getting it for my best friend who is just getting into makeup and she is pale.

Genevieve, I only have 2 bronzers and one is just for work video meetings as I need something a darker than I’d typically consider to prevent me from looking more undead than usual. The “video meetings only” bronzer is Gucci 01, which is has a neutral undertone and, with a very light hand, brings some life to my face; it’s too dark to use otherwise. My all time favorite bronzer, and the only one that isn’t too dark, orange or yellow, is Guerlain’s Terracotta Light Healthy Glow in 00 Light Cool. It’s a light neutral brown color with pieces of cool toned pink blush scattered throughout, which gives a subtle natural post sunburn effect as opposed to an orange spray tan look, like most bronzers I’ve tried. I just don’t tan naturally, I burn and go back to “glow in the dark” (not that I go in the sun anyway) so bronzer as a whole will never look natural. That said, I don’t use it every time I wear makeup as I prefer to use blush to give life to my skin and lately have been loving Bare Mineral’s Kiss of Pink Blonzer to give that post sunburn look.

The swatches look very warm toned, I bet they would work as a blusher/bronzer draped right on the cheeks and onto the temples and eyelid crease. Even though I have tan skin the light medium shade reminds me of my favorite (discontinued πŸ˜“) Becca shade Bronzed Bondi.

It looks very light to tan considerate and very pale and deep inconsiderate. Those are the skin tones that actually need someone to come out with great affordable options. To be positive, it’s a lot of shades for drug store though!
