New for summer, LORAC has released their Light Source Illuminating Highlighter in four shades (reviews to come for all shades). The formula is supposed to be buildable for both a “soft, natural sheen” or “layered for a high-shine, dramatic effect.” Twilight had semi-opaque to fully opaque coverage–it was the most pigmented of the four–with a fair amount of shimmer. This shade was the most shimmery/metallic of the four as well. The texture was very soft and a little loose in the pan, so it tended to sheer out a bit more readily on the skin (which I think works for a highlighter formulation) but is easily diffused beyond where one might have intended so use smaller, more precise movements/strokes when applying and blending. It emphasized pores just slightly, but it tended to be so metallic and glow-y that it was hard to notice. On me, the color wore well for eight hours before breaking down.
