About this Look

The weather has been really nice lately in my neck of the woods and it makes me want to try brighter, summery colors! This is my first time doing an ombre lip, and I think I will keep doing in in the future! I thought the pink ombre would contrast nicely with an ice blue lining my under eye, and I kept my eyelids fairly neutral so there wouldn’t be too much going on on my face.

Step-by-Step Guide

Face: I prepped my skin using UD Optical Illusion Primer, then One and Done tinted moisturizer. I pressed UD's Naked Skin Pressed Finishing Powder on my forehead (it is a weird mixture of dryness and slightly oil, and this powder works well for that) and used Too Faced Love Flush Blush in Baby Love on the apples of my cheeks. Then I sweeped Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder over all of my face below my eyebrows, and also used it to blend out my blush where necessary.

Eyes: I primed using UDPP, and ended up using multiple palettes for this look! From UD Naked Ultimate Basics, Blow is my highlight, Nude is my base. From the Tarteist Pro To Go palette, I started my crease with Drive, then used Stylin to define my outer "V", and blended it all together using a mixture of Crisp from Pro To Go and Tempted from Naked Ultimate Basics. Then, from Tarte Make Believe in Yourself, I used Mystic to line the inner half of my under eye and Dream on the outer half. Finally I did a baby wing using NYX Collection Noir Liquid Black Liner and Maybelline Lash Sensational on my lashes.

Brows: I only use Benefit Gimme Brow to make my brows a little bolder and brusht the hairs upward.

Lips: I prep my lips with Too Faced Lip Insurance, and then used UD Vice in Insanity for the outer edge of my lips, and UD Vice in Frenemy for the inner portion. I blended them together with my finger, and reapplied with a patting motion whereever I wanted a more "true" color with each lipstick.

Setting: I used UD Chill Setting Spray all over, and then UD Quick Fix spray concentrated on my forehead and center facial area, as those areas tend to get dry spots. (I also prep my skin with Quick Fix during my skin care routine!)
