A Sultry, Smoky Eye with the Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette
About this Look
I wanted to try a more matte eyeshadow look, as the proof of quality is often in just how the matte formula will perform. The look ended up being very dark and smoky, so I still reached for some of the shimmery shades to brighten up the lower lash line a bit.

I’m a sucker for deep, matte neutrals! Even with this palette’s flaws, I very much like this smokey look you’ve created.
Aw, thank you so much! 🙂
A vibrant smoky look with these matte eye shadows. They do look good together.
It’s a very rich eye, even though it is quite dark!
This is a gorgeous eye look Christine!
Thank you, Maria!
Hi, are the colors applied in the order you state them? Like on the lower lash line you put Torch on the water line, then Dirty Talk under the lash line, then go over Dirty Talk with Lumbre, then go over Lumber with Ember? Do you have a video of you applying this look by chance? I’m a total nube at make-up. Thank you in advance, this is a beautiful look!
They are not necessarily stated in the order they are applied in – it depends on the look; I might start with eyeliner and add one shade and decide to add something else based on how it looks at that moment! Sorry, I’m just a blogger!
Thank you so much and please don’t apologize, I appreciate your time 🙂
