lilah b. b. enchanting Glisten + Glow Review & Swatches
b enchanting
lilah b. b enchanting Glisten + Glow ($60.00 for 0.17 oz.) is a pale, golden beige with warm undertones and a pearly sheen. It had a lot of finer shimmer that gave it a shiny, more luminous glow, while there were slightly larger shimmers that made it twinkle in certain lighting.
The texture was smooth to the touch, lightly creamy but a little drier (not in a bad way), so I felt like that made it easier to apply on top of bare skin as well as over foundation as it gripped better and ensured the semi-opaque coverage translated onto skin (if desired). It was easy to apply and blend out, and it didn’t emphasized my skin’s natural texture. It wore nicely for eight hours on me before fading slightly.

This reminds me very much of MAC x Maria Moretti Summer Wind! Something I really need to use far more often than I do, because it’s that same softer, more skin-like type of finish.
This is $103NZD here.
A HUNDRED AND THREE.
I’ll stick with my Ofra for now 😛
(I did once splurge on a very expensive, very tiny amount of Edward Bess Afterglow which I am sure works out to be more cost per weight than this and it IS totally gorgeous – I used it on my wedding day so it has an extra special place in my heart, but ironically now that I have more disposable income than ever before, value for money is more, not less important to me…)
Well, maybe the minis will be a mere $60! Felt like a fool for buying the full-size and then the minis came out a week later, LOL.
Yeah, this is lovely, but I already own ColourPop Dreamscape. I definitely don’t need a dupe that’s an order or magnitude more expensive!
