Le Metier de Beaute Coral Nymph Creme Fresh Tint Review, Photos, Swatches
Le Metier de Beaute Coral Nymph Creme Fresh Tint
Le Metier de Beaute Coral Nymph Creme Fresh Tint ($28.00 for 0.17 oz.) is warm, coral-orange with a satiny sheen. It can be worn on both lips as well as cheeks, and what I like most about the formula is that it’s just as nice as a cream bluash as it is as a lipstick–and very few cheek/lip products work well on both areas (usually, one of them has to give). The consistency is very soft and creamy; it almost seems like it’s partially melted. The product blends out well on the skin, doesn’t feel sticky or greasy, and wears well.
As a blush, it appears as a soft coral with slight orange/red tones. It has a dewy finish that’s perfect for summer, as it gives the skin a fresh, glowy finish but doesn’t slide around the face. I’ve had this product for a year now (yes, that’s how long my backlog is), and I originally tested this product prior to moving, but I wanted re-test as well as re-shoot the photos for the blush swatch. In the summer heat, I had no trouble with it lasting eight hours with minimal signs of fading. MAC Ripe for Love is a powder product and has a stronger frost finish. NARS Gilda is darker and a powder. MAC Stereo Rose is pinker, more frosted, and a powder. MAC Something Special is pinker. Illamasqua Rude is more orange. Burberry Blossom is a powder and slightly darker. Bobbi Brown Coral is less shimmery and a powder. See comparison swatches.
As a lipstick, it has opaque color coverage, and it applies smoothly and evenly. It lasted four hours when I wore it. MAC Sweet & Sour is similar. MAC Reel Sexy is pinker. MAC Razzledazzler is darker. MAC Ever Hip is pinker. Burberry Pink Apricot is slightly darker. See comparison swatches.

It’s beautiful! I really like that it works equally good as a blush and a lip product. I’ve been looking for an orange tone that isn’t too dark–this may be it–where do I buy it?
Nordstrom, Saks, Neiman Marcus – if you click “WHERE TO BUY” in the Glossover, it shows you retailers where you can purchase it!
That eyeliner is gorgeous!
Lovely with blue eyeliner
Wow. I am impressed! I may have to check these out.
How rare that something works equally well as both a cheek and a lip product! As usual, Le Metier’s standard of quality is fantastic. If this was a shade I’d actually wear I’d buy it!
Maybe check out some of their other shades 🙂 The $28 price tag is actually quite reasonable, too!
OMG. Complete love.
This is one of those colors that would look horrendously atrocious on me. I could see it working well for others, though.
Don’t like it on the lips, but really like it a lot on the cheeks!
I really like the color tone. I also like that it can be used as a blush and lip color, very travel-friendly. 🙂 Will definitely check it out!
So cute! I like that you can use it on cheeks and lips.
What did you use to apply this to your cheeks? I’ve recently bought Poppy (Coral Nymph was not available at the time but I’m keeping my eyes -peeled-!!) I used the Real Techniques stippling brush this morning (first time using the creme fresh tint), but I’m thinking bc of the consistency of the product, fingers may be better! 🙂 thanks!
I probably use fingers here, or else MAC 159 or 188!
Thanks Christine!!
